원 샷 (One Shot) is a wonderfully tense little Western shooter that I liked because it makes every single mistake matter. I play as a former sheriff hunting the outlaws who kidnapped his son, and the entire adventure is built around deadly one shot gunfights. I really enjoyed how quickly the game creates pressure because I know that I can die just as easily as the enemies can. The combat is brutally simple. Every enemy goes down with one shot, but I do too, so there is absolutely no room for careless movement. I have to watch the battlefield, choose my targets and react before someone gets the chance to fire. I liked the focus on accuracy because every successful shot feels important rather than just contributing to a large health bar. The loadout system adds some interesting experimentation. I can equip different revolvers, ammunition options, focused shots and trinkets to create different approaches. I liked being able to change my setup without having to grind for unlocks, because it encourages me to experiment and find combinations that suit how I prefer to play. The lack of traditional cover is another interesting choice. Enemies are always ready to shoot, and I cannot simply hide behind walls while waiting for the danger to disappear. That makes the arenas feel exposed and keeps the action moving. The dark pixel art style also fits the oppressive Western atmosphere really well, giving the game a gritty identity without making the visuals unnecessarily complicated. My biggest issue is that the difficulty can become frustrating. Because one mistake means death, a run can end very suddenly, and sometimes I found myself repeating sections when I knew I had already understood what I was supposed to do. The overall amount of content is also fairly limited, so the experience relies heavily on whether I enjoy chasing better runs and experimenting with different builds. The multiple endings give the short adventure some extra value, and I liked that the game does not require me to unlock equipment through a long progression system. Instead, the challenge comes from mastering the combat itself. That makes it feel more like an arcade shooter built around precision than a traditional action RPG. Overall, 원 샷 (One Shot) is a stylish and very unforgiving little shooter that I had a lot of fun with. I liked the one shot kills, the tense positioning and the freedom to experiment with different loadouts. It can be frustrating when a run ends suddenly, but that ruthless design is also what makes every successful encounter feel so satisfying. Rating: 6.5/10
