My favourite Year 3 game from BUAS this year! "On the Bubble" sees the player roll a ball around multiple levels in pursuit of bringing it past the finish line. The game focusses fully on the rolling mechanic, but that´s enough to make for some fun gameplay that is all about execution. The camera is largely smooth and only behaves awkwardly when the ball is sent backwards by one of the bumpers. I´d like for the camera to always point into the direction that I should be going...alternatively, it might have been nice to allow the player to steer the ball manually via the right joystick. Overall, the team did a very good job, also in creating some particularly difficult and unforgiving levels - great fun!
You're a ball and you're ballin', what else do you need?

Very very rough. It's playable but I cant even get into the settings menu, if it even does anything. Other menus are laggy or also don't work. Some of the levels are a bit ridiculous in difficulty. The frame rate seems low which adds to the difficulty. I don't like the cameras not having free movement. The camera bounces around which makes moving the ball in the correct direction more difficult. But like the concept and it's free so I recommend anyway because free gaming is great.
AMD graphics card - Level lighting does not work, the platforms are completely dark. certain small things like the settings menu do not work and annoyingly long unskippable transitions, and the camera is tied to the ball's direction, which adds to the difficulty, but is super annoying however, the game is free and if you spend some time, it is pretty fun
im turning into a ball
Game doesn't work properly on AMD cards I think but other than that it's fun and that's all that matters doesn't it Also try to beat my scores you can't sorry
