I liked it. It hit the balance between somber, cozy and ominous for me, and I loved how the creatures are from Nordic Folklore, so I recognized them.

The puzzle portions were harder for me than I'd like to admit. So I won't talk about it. Instead, I'm making some oven roasted bone-in chicken thighs that smell delicious. I'm using some chipotle seasoning, and will add a bit of honey during the last couple of minutes to give them a bit of sweet & sticky flavor. But in all seriousness, this is a good adventure game. It has an old-school vibe to it and some exceptional graphics. The puzzles aren't terribly difficult, but they still gave me some difficulties.

It's a little creepy and eerie but cute game. Nice if you like folklore with a dark tinge, but nothing terrifying. A really cool game and story. Any nitpick I'd have would be the saturation of the colors. The visuals are a really interesting blend of painterly 2d and 3d but the grey scale can make some things easy to miss. Some of the puzzles aren't the most intuitive. Great game otherwise. Give it a try if you liked Hilda growing up.
