Игра 'Oceans' – это захватывающее погружение в эволюцию морских обитателей. Механика игры, основанная на построении экосистем и адаптации видов, невероятно увлекательна. Нужно тщательно планировать каждый ход, учитывая не только собственные потребности, но и действия соперников. Это заставляет думать на несколько шагов вперед и придумывать хитрые тактики. Игра прекрасно сбалансирована, и шансы на победу есть у каждого, независимо от выбранной стратегии. Единственное, что может отпугнуть некоторых игроков – это довольно высокий порог вхождения. Правила кажутся сложными на первый взгляд, но после нескольких партий все становится на свои места. В остальном, это великолепная игра, которая заслуживает внимания всех любителей стратегий и эволюции.

Art is very beautiful. Game mechanics are nice! Still... it's somehow dull. I'm absolutely not pulled in to play another round - and that said, I'm a frequent board game player and love Spirit Island for instance. Coming from Spirit Island the digital game and Wing Span, I use those for reference. 1. The generic music destroys the beautiful ambience. 2. It's optimized for tablets and use with fingers. It's a challenge to play with a pc mouse. 3. No options tab. Can't change resolution, can't choose window mode, can't change sound value, can't drag interface around. 4. They very annoyingly try to force you to register and make an account. 5. No achievements or game cards. Those would certainly keep me playing longer and put some money into this game. +1 Tutorial explains the game quite well. Verdict: No reason to play this in the current state. If they put some work into it, there is some potential for an addicting and beautiful game though.

The board game is solid, but I've played this against the AI 12 times and it's locked up 3 times. Also, only having 1v1 when the board game is designed for multi-player is a pretty glaring mistake. This is an unfinished game over a year after launch, which is surprising given how good the app for Evolution is.

This is a gorgeous board game and a lot of fun. Some of the fun is different - not worse, just different - in an online medium, but I don't have any particular complaints.

Reluctant thumbs up. It's fun, highly tactical, lots of angles to approach strategy and of course badass being able to build your own tusked parasitic waterbears or venemous electric micro-manatees, but if youre planning on playing solo mostly and looking for a particularly challenging experience, this will at some point grow to become a disappointment after you get the hang of it. I almost never lose to the AI on the hardest setting at this point, and in fact usually crush it mercilessly, and tbh im not a standout whiz at card games. There was a good little stretch at the beginning though where it felt more challenging. Also there usually isnt anyone playing multiplayer, so chances are youll be going against AI. I would recommend this game largely to anyone who is is newer to card battling games or doesnt mind the eventual easiness, or has a buddy you can convince to get it too and go head to head with. I have the physical game as well and it's a gem, but this digital implementation really needs a more challenging/higher tier AI mode.

Unfortunately it didn't take long for the game to crash as many others described, while I enjoy the game It'd probably just be better to download this f2p game on your phone. It's way more stable there from my experience
