We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

About
The year is 2084. The future has turned out much darker than anyone could imagine. First, there was the Nanophage. A digital plague that killed thousands upon thousands of those who chose to augment their minds and bodies. Then came the War, leaving both the West and the East decimated and shattered. With no one left to seize power, corporations took over and forged their own crooked empires.
You are an Observer – a tool of corporate oppression. Feared and despised, you hack into the darkest corners of your suspects’ minds. You creep into their dreams, expose their fears, and extract whatever your investigation may require.
In this sci-fi tale crafted by Bloober Team – the modern‑day masters of horror, prepare to experience a dystopian future where not even your innermost thoughts are safe.
Become a Neural Detective – You play as Daniel Lazarski, an elite investigator of the future portrayed by late cyberpunk icon Rutger Hauer. As an Observer, you hack into the minds of suspects to extract clues and evidence. Anything they felt, thought, or remembered can and will be used to solve your case.
Eat Their Dreams – Using a device known as the Dream Eater, hack into the minds of the dead and dying to relive their final moments to explore their fears and obsessions. Delve into these twisted neural mazes and search for clues that can help you find the elusive killer.
Take in the Atmosphere of 2084 – Enter a world ravaged by war and cyber-plague, where life is cheap and hope is scarce. Where most people will do anything to escape their grim existence. Virtual realities, mind-altering drugs, neural implants - pick your poison and drift away into a blissful oblivion. But remember, no matter how deep you go, you can never hide from an Observer.

Reviews
I really enjoyed the story in this game. The world is interesting and super mysterious, with some decent jumpscares as well. There was a lot of mystery surrounding what was happening, and I was really invested. Overall, I did like what Bloober Team created here. HOWEVER: The visual presentation makes the game unbearable to play. The game is extremely nauseating. The motion blur cannot be turned off, the fisheye effect adds even more distortion, wobbly head 24/7, intense camera shake and film grain, and the FOV feels far too low even when set to maximum. On top of that, there are constant flickering and extremely bright, flashing lights that can feel almost blinding at times. The camera movement during certain interactions, like opening and closing doors, also has this strange movement that feels awkward and nauseating. Because you're constantly interacting with doors, it becomes a recurring problem. I wish there were more acessibility options to fix all this. And this isn't just a minor annoyance for me. I would genuinely feel motion sick for hours after playing the game, and I've noticed other players experiencing this as well. I've played plenty of other games without ever experiencing anything like this, including other Bloober Team titles, so this felt particularly unusual. It's honestly frustrating because I actually liked the game a lot and wanted to 100% it. Another thing that bothered me was the protagonist's voice acting. His delivery is extremely monotonous, even during situations where you'd expect some kind of emotional reaction. There can be a lot happening on screen - disturbing, intense, or genuinely shocking events - and yet the character often sounds completely unfazed. I understand that having a detached protagonist can be an intentional character choice, but here it felt excessive to me. Instead of making him feel calm or surprised, it sometimes made him difficult to take seriously and made some scenes less impactful than they could have been. Great story and atmosphere but I’ll pass on folding myself into a fetal position after every session just to recover from the motion sickness.

13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Aug 25: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Bloober Team do Antigo Testamento
I really wanted to get into this game but the flickering was making me nauseous. I wish there was a way in the accessibility settings to turn this off.
Good game!
Idea is good but presentation is very bad. It has a lot of techincal issues including frequent traversal stutters as Unreal games usually has. Although art design (idea) is good - the game visuals are nauseous. Especially all those glitches including UI and text. I don't know who's idea was to put glitch effect over text you need to read but thank you, man. I didn't liked how the game overall feels and plays. The writing is okay, it provides you immersion (dialogues with tenants or notes), but not the understanding of what's going on in the plot. Actual understanding you'll get only in last hour of game. And btw there's a lot of random screamers and stuff to "scare you" that has no sense in terms of narrative. I don't like it - game should make a tension using its atmosphere and everything that happens should have at least some sense to the narrative or gameplay. Because in a game with narrative like this, you're trying to analyze anything that can give you some hook to the plot. So when the game throws at you stuff just for the sake of "craziness" and "horror" - it's boring.

Prettiest game I've ever played, every minute of it was an unique jaw dropping experience due to the excellent ambiance in combination with the graphical direction behind the whole game. While the story is alright, it is in my opinion not the main strength of this title, however that doesn't mean it's bad, it's just ok, which is better than bad. The real strength lies in the art direction, the ambiance, the sound design, the environments and the truly compelling philosophical theme driving the game, paired with a psychedelic microdose of good old light science tincture, these strengths (In that order) are what makes this game worth experiencing at least once in life. I'm not a fan of Bloober, but this game deserves all the praise one could possibly give.
