Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate.

Stats
How fast this game is gaining ratings — the activity signal available where a store publishes no sales or install numbers.
Measured from our own daily snapshots, not reported by the store. Deliberately not converted into sales: a one-tap rating's ratio to copies sold is unknown on this platform, and guessing it would be worse than leaving it out.
Sums Google Play only; App Store publishes no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Great games but an annoying bug I love the games and play most of them daily but lately, when I finish the crossword and click on the X to close it, nothing happens. The only thing I can do is share my results or play Spelling Bee (one I’ll play later when I’ve finished my favorites). I’m hoping the next update fixes this.
My old iPad is not supported I played the NYT game app on my iPad for years. I now am locked out because NYT requires the latest apple OS be loaded on my iPad. My iPad will not support the latest OS. What is so special about a crossword puzzle that it needs the latest OS to run?
Wow! Big fun! See title
stop asking me for a review I’m writing this review so I can stop getting Popup ads in the app that I pay for. Thank you.
“Now free crosswords” not true The last update said the crosswords would be available for free Aug. 17-23. Not true so far, and it’s 10am Eastern on Aug. 17.
Don’t Ice Out West Coast It is so frustrating that you don’t allow those of us on the west coast to play spelling bee if it’s after midnight eastern time. Please fix this!!!
Basically a Virus? Games can be fun, but if ever you decide you wanna skip a month, or unsubscribe totally and just play the free game, that's hilarious! You can't! And they'll keep trying to charge ya, crazy greedy company, I regret getting it again.
Stop asking me to rate!!! I rated 5s but it keeps prompting me so now I’m on ones
Buggy This is embarrassing. The crossword puzzle now forgets letters that I’ve entered. It seems to be associated with using more than one device. Horrible app quality control.
Confusing!!!! I went to play the mini crossword last night, 30 minutes before midnight, so I could do yesterday’s puzzle before the new day. I am now seeing that I completed Friday’s puzzle instead of Thursday’s, despite it being 11:30 pm on Thursday when I did it. I really don’t understand why the puzzle would change days before the day has. This is very upsetting as looking forward to the daily mini is a huge highlight of my day, as I’ve been very sick this year. I even have the picture of the text I sent my mom at 11:30 pm of my results for the puzzle that ended up being for the next day. I don’t know that you’ll listen, but it is quite upsetting that the puzzle can change before the new day like that. Very confusing. At what point IS the cut-off???
