Stats
How fast this game is gaining ratings — the activity signal available where a store publishes no sales or install numbers.
Measured from our own daily snapshots, not reported by the store. Deliberately not converted into sales: a one-tap rating's ratio to copies sold is unknown on this platform, and guessing it would be worse than leaving it out.
Sums Google Play only; App Store publishes no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

NYT Games is my everything I love it sooooooo much ❤️❤️❤️ more than humans😳 I adore you NYT😍 I am obsessed 👏🏼😘 It’s my life! And I also love baguettes and seahorses and unicorns🌈
Still no NYT bonus puzzles I have the most up-to-date app, I have cleared my browser, have logged out and logged back into the app and still no bonus puzzles. Get this fixed.
games are fine occasional crossword bugs (like with the keyboard disappearing when changing apps). app is probably 4 stars but 1 star rn because it literally asks me every day to review it, and I always give stars, but I guess that’s not enough because it did it again today. maybe this will stop it. please don’t harass me for reviews.
love the games, app could be better i use this app daily, and love the challenge of the games! the only problem i have is the app interface. it does not satisfy common ease-of-access needs, and sometimes can be slow or choppy in responding to user inputs. why is there no button to immediately return to the homepage after completing a puzzle? why can i not select an entire set of one number while playing a sudoku game(such as how sudoku.com allows users to do)? why are 30% of the letters i press on the in-app keyboards not what i meant to, when i am able to type with great accuracy on my phone keyboard throughout the day? why is there no way to dismiss the banners(telling me about bonus puzzles i’ve already solved, and an app i don’t want to download) at the top of the homepage? these are all questions i have, and would love for the issues described to be addressed in future updates. thank you!
Can’t X out So annoyed, I am unable to X out when i finish any of thr crossword puzzle versions. Don’t know why but this is frustrating because I have to close out the app and restart every time. I wanna do a new puzzle. Not sure what changed with the app.
cannot exit after winning The app no longer allows you exit after a game. It only wants you share or do other silly things they want you to do. Used to be a fun app now it’s annoying having to exit to play something else.
stop with the rating prompts every single time i finish a puzzle. if i wanted to rate it, i would have already.
Updated review: Left a 2 star review due to the recent updates putting everything behind a paywall. The mini, new midi, Letterboxd, and Tiles are all now behind paywalls. Just noticed today that even Spelling Bee is now behind a paywall after 7 tries.. I understand these apps take work, money, effort, and time through so many hands to make happen and that this is not a necessity… but games like this also help educate and keep minds going and have serious value there. Whenever companies put educational content behind a paywall though, I have to wonder if what their priorities are since to me - widespread access = a broader reach. Also keep in mind that people are exhausted by the subscription model. Everything requires an app and a subscription and I know for myself at least, I am tired of it.. I’ve thinned out my subscriptions and don’t touch anything with one anymore shifting more and more toward analog options. If you’re worried about income, perhaps consider a 1 time payment and skip subscriptions altogether (ideally free would be the best option but, just some ideas). I guess I shouldn’t be surprised with the state of the writing at NYT thay their apps would also be less than ideal. Still disappointing regardless.
