good game BUT IT CRASHED WHEN I DISCONNECTED MY WIRELESS-HEADPHONES/ALT-TABBED AND I LOST A GOOD RUN but still a good game
The best rouge-like I've touched in years, only rivaled by the Binding Of Isaac, Somehow I always come back to this game to just try things, If you think it works, it probably does. The creativity of the game is nigh unmatched and I'm excited to see what else this game has to offer. I'll check in for updates every day! Five Stars. My only complaint is the rather slow leveling. But compared to Isaac? Im quite sure its fine.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Its fun, addicting, and a blast. Shield builds, bullet sponges, and hull crashers are the most consistent builds I've come across that lasts awhile. I would like to see some love to some other builds as I keep making some cool as hell stuff but they can never last as long as I would like which is a let down. -otherwise love this game to space debris bits ----Pros---- Fast paced spaceship blastin! Many many upgrades and variety. Great visuals. Number go up, brain happy!!!! Galaga² ----Cons---- Controls get some getting used too Seems to have a "tank" meta. Good luck getting them high scores with anything else. "Wow this build is so fun!!!!" *Dies 1 minute later* <--- This will happen alot, but when it doesn't its great.
Nova Drift is a standout title in the realm of roguelike space shooters, offering a unique blend of fast-paced arcade action and deep, strategic customization. Developed by Chimeric, the game draws inspiration from classic top-down shooters but quickly sets itself apart through an innovative upgrade system that allows players to tailor their ship’s abilities and playstyle with remarkable freedom. From the moment you start, the game emphasizes experimentation, inviting you to explore a wide array of weapon combinations, defensive upgrades, and special effects that can dramatically alter how you approach combat. This modularity not only enhances replayability but also creates a personalized experience where no two runs feel the same. The core gameplay loop is exhilarating and demanding. You pilot a nimble ship through waves of increasingly dangerous enemies, using your arsenal of weapons and special abilities to survive as long as possible. What truly elevates the experience is the upgrade mechanic: as you progress, you gain the opportunity to select from various enhancements that modify your ship’s hull, weapons, shields, and special systems. Some upgrades grant offensive firepower, such as lasers that chain between enemies or homing missiles, while others focus on survivability or utility, like shield boosters and movement speed enhancements. The game also introduces high-risk, high-reward modifiers—called Wild Mods and Super Mods—that can radically change your playstyle but come with balancing drawbacks. This creates a rich strategic layer where deciding which upgrades to accept or decline is as important as your skill in battle. Visually, Nova Drift impresses with a sleek and vibrant aesthetic that balances retro and modern sensibilities. Its neon-lit, low-poly art style coupled with dynamic particle effects makes every explosion and laser blast feel impactful without overwhelming the screen. The atmospheric electronic soundtrack complements the visual design perfectly, driving the momentum forward and enhancing the immersion. Together, the audiovisual elements create a compelling sci-fi ambiance that keeps players engaged throughout their runs. While the game shines in its depth and polish, it is not without challenges. The momentum-based controls require a learning curve; players must master not only aiming and shooting but also precise movement to avoid damage and position themselves advantageously. For newcomers to the genre or those used to more straightforward twin-stick shooters, this can initially feel frustrating. Additionally, the sheer number of upgrade options, while a strength, can be daunting at first. The game’s minimal tutorial support means much of the learning happens through trial and error, which may deter some players looking for a gentler introduction. However, for those who embrace the challenge, the process of discovering powerful combinations and refining their strategy is highly rewarding. Beyond the core survival mode, Nova Drift offers various gameplay modes and challenges that further extend its lifespan. The inclusion of a New Game+ mode and additional modifiers allows experienced players to test their mastery under tougher conditions. This variety, combined with the procedural generation of enemy waves and upgrade drops, ensures that replayability remains a strong point. Each run is an opportunity to try new builds, refine tactics, and push your skills further. Overall, Nova Drift stands out as a rich, engaging roguelike shooter that successfully marries arcade thrills with strategic depth. Its dynamic upgrade system empowers players to experiment and discover unique playstyles, while the fast-paced combat keeps the adrenaline high. Though it demands patience and practice to fully appreciate, the game rewards dedication with satisfying progression and a vibrant sci-fi atmosphere. For players seeking a challenging space shooter with a strong emphasis on customization and replayability, Nova Drift offers an experience that is both fresh and deeply satisfying. Rating: 9/10
