This game takes the BEST things about extraction shooters, AND THROWS IT ALL AWAY. You don't keep ANYTHING you loot in game, some weirdo steals it and gives u xp? After the 15th zombie you have experienced everything this game has to offer, cool graphics and ragdoll physics. BUT THERE IS NO REWARD FOR ANYTHING, SWING SHOOT SWING SHOOT KICK LEAVE REPEAT. FIND 2 BULLETS, I hate that i spent 2 hours playing this trying to have a good time with my friends. this is my first review out of 150 games so u know its bad.
The negative reviews are associated with pre-patch 1.0. As a new player I can confirm that this is a fun, challenging, and unique game to play with your friends. Obviously matchmaking in random public lobbies can lead to some unsavory experiences but that appliesw to any online game. I've only experienced one glitch and it was a funny one. My running animation stopped working so as a result I was sliding everywhere like i was made of butter. Pretty funny. A lot of potential here for this game and it seems like the developers care. I will be buying any DLC that comes out because I believe in the developers vision so I would be happy to help fund said vision. Please give this game a try. Its nothing like any zombie game I've played.
I was a 3D animator for No More Room in Hell, between 2013-2016. Game seems good! There's a few things to polish up and refine, but a solid release nonetheless. It definitely captures the NMRiH 'vibe' or atmosphere that Maxx wanted to set fourth with this sequel. Well done TBS and do please keep supporting the game and the vision! Also pls polish up and fix up some of the weapon animations.
clear a room, zombies spawn right behind your back a moment later. buggy like a mofo and crashes alot, causing you to lose your character. save your money from this generic unreal engine 5 dogwater. early access isn't an excuse when it plays more like an alpha
spend time levelling up a character. die(permadeath) spend more time levelling up character, this time changing character after every game. die again(permadeath). spend even more time being extra cautious levelling up the characters. die, yet again(permadeath). 10/10 experience, will level up character again. Review after playing some more: Still fun considering its still in Early access, but there are some things that needed work. 1. Dedicated Servers : sometimes game gives me 60 ping, sometimes it give 400. Inconsistency in ping leads to death sometimes. 2. Reconnect options : Sometime for random unknown reason, the game carshe or internet stops working. There is no option to allow player to reconnect. 3. Optimization : Graphics are really good, 9/10. But they are not optimized, the game give me 70-80 fps at the start but randomly stuck at 40fps in the middle of an objective, or when other players and hoard of zombies are very close to me. Need to work on that too. Other than that, the game is Really good, will level up character again.
It burdens me to see so many unfavorable criticism, but while the technical lag is maybe inevitable, every other feature of this title depicts a true evolution of the original recipe. Despite the fact that this game feels formiddable even for experts of the series. I want to extend thanks to the devs for not deserting their game, and for continuing to make it better and add additional and extra content. 🧠Utilizing Unreal E5, NMRiH2 features increased graphics, with elaborate character and living dead models, naturalistic lighting and silhouette effects, as well as extra diverse and immersive surroundings. The sound design is also remarkable, featuring lifelike weapon sounds, zombie moans, and dynamic tunes that reacts to in-game events, all tributing to a tight and frightening aerosphere, especially in Nightmare mode. The undead in this game are entirely hostile; they always charge in hordes, pin you in dead ends, mounting over barriers, and coming at you from each direction. If you get bitten or scraped, there is a chance you’ll contract a contagion. The main quest then becomes spending the whole mission continually popping antibiotics to sedate the infection's development. If you're blessed, you might unknowingly come across a vaccine that provides a absolute cure, but the chance of locating one are diminishingly slim. So, in nature, you aren't just fighting the outer threat posed by the undead; you're also fighting a combat against a issue decaying within yourself. Contamination is more than just a status outcome, it is a visual curse. As the illness advances, the character's eyesight begins to unfocus, and acoustic hallucinations set in. In the final phases, the eyes become bloodshot with visible red veins, leaving you with valuable little minutes to make a decision: hunt for a cure until your very final breath, or eat a bullet. As the proverb goes, the choice is yours, just don't develop into a third issue for your team. ✅The Good. - Extensive and engaging surroundings. - Appealing co-op gameplay. - Improved graphics energized by Unreal 5. - Sound design that successfully creates ambience. - The game shows sizeable potential for the upcoming day once the full version is issued. ❌The Bad. - Substantial technical problems, as well as bugs and performance hiccups. - Random undead respawns and meager supplies sometimes feel annoyingly unfair. - Not always simple to find coordinated crews 🧾In Conclusion. NMRiH 2 has the ability to become exceptionally good title in the co-op horror category, offering an engaging and hard experience. The optimization has been made better, making the game notably more steady. I recommend to keep an eye for upcoming updates with substantial advancements to its performance. I look ahead to watching how this title resumes to evolve in the future. 7.5/10🔚
48小时刷一个满级角色,网络一断线强制退出,再重连就在主界面了,角色也死了。行,不能退款了只好差评
At launch this game was in a really bad state, like terrible, and they really screwed this game by launching it too early. HOWEVER after playing it in its current state its actually really enjoyable. My biggest complaint at launch was how just bad everything felt but the gameplay is very smooth now and feels fairly polished. Unfortunately the player count is quite low, averaging like 100-300 players daily, though I've managed to find matches fairly easily that will fill up as the game goes on. Kinda wish they would make this free to play until the full release just to increase the player count since when they did the free weekend a lot of people jumped in. Really wouldnt be opposed to keeping it free to play and just selling skins cuz i would definitely buy some if they were cool looking haha But yeah, all in all its pretty good now, and i recommend getting it if you like coop games in this style/liked the original. Its definitely different from the original but not so much as to be unrecognizable.
This is the most fascinating example of a game looking incredible in screenshots, trailers, and other media. Then when you play it, it's a worse version of a 2004 mod made in Source Engine. But it's now Unreal Engine 4 or 5 and its all the same clunkiness that comes with a source mod in 2004. I can't believe it's not intentional to make it play so badly, since even default FPS presents in Unreal Engine editor are way better by default.
Big No More Room in Hell 1 Fan here to this day I miss the ambiance and pacing. This has practically none of that for some reason. shares a lot of mechanics melee and infection wise but none of this stuff is "unique" imop it was the feeling of the previous game, it was actually scary. I don't feel constantly on edge anymore. Instead of strong map progression where you start and end somewhere else most maps keep you in the same area just running from one building to the next. I like torn banner I really enjoy their game chivalry 2, but they dropped the ball on this one while having a blueprint of what worked for them previously. Sometimes less is more and i believe that strikes true with 1, 2 feels too arcade.
