About
Meet the disgrace of a prestigious magical family: a 'Zero Mana' dropout witch. All she has are massive debt and a set of 'sketchy, defective dice' bought from a loan shark. To overturn her miserable fate, she reluctantly enters the dungeon to find the legendary 'Wish-Granting Scroll.'
She acts like a cool, dark mage on the outside, but inside? She’s trembling in her boots. At every crossroads of fear, guide her with your 'Perfect Strategy!'
"Use the dice to run, or use them to fight?"
Perfect Information: Enemy actions are 100% telegraphed. Find the optimal ratio between movement and offense each turn.
Desperate Resource Management: You hold only 4 dice. Use a high roll to sprint away, and you lose firepower. Go all-in on the attack, and you're a sitting duck. Every die counts.
If the dice won't listen, just change the 'Scroll'.
Rethinking Dice Values: Every scroll interprets numbers differently. A generic '1' could be a failure on one scroll, but a critical hit on another.
4 Scrolls, Condensed Strategy: You can only bring 4 scrolls into battle. Find the perfect balance between range, AoE (Area of Effect), survival, and impact.
Dice-Driven Tactics: A desperate survival roguelike where every action—from walking to striking—hinges on your dice rolls.
Telegraphed Combat: Enemy intents are fully visible. Enjoy the strategic thrill of allocating limited dice between 'Survival (Move)' and 'Impact (Attack).'
Dynamic Scroll Deck-Building: Collect scrolls that change range and effects based on dice values. Control every variable with a compact deck of 4 scrolls.

No Mana, Just Dice — бесплатная пошаговая тактическая RPG в жанре roguelike с элементами стратегии. Итог No Mana, Just Dice подойдёт поклонникам пошаговых тактик, roguelike и нестандартных механик.
No Mana, Just Dice is a really unusual little turn based roguelike built around one simple idea, I have to use dice for basically everything. I play as a witch who has no mana, a huge amount of debt and a set of unreliable dice, so even moving around the dungeon depends on what I roll. The goal is to make my way through the dungeon and find the Wish Granting Scroll, but getting there means constantly deciding whether I should spend my dice on movement or use them to attack. I like the idea because the dice are not just a random gimmick sitting on top of normal combat. They are the main resource I have to manage. The combat is where the game gets most interesting for me. I only have four dice available, so every turn makes me think about how I want to spend them. A high roll might let me move a long distance and escape an attack, but then I have less available for dealing damage. I can also see enemy attacks before they happen, which means I am not simply hoping that luck saves me. I can look at what is coming and try to work out the best way to use the dice I have. That makes the random element feel more manageable because I still have to make proper decisions with whatever I roll. The scroll system adds another good layer. Different scrolls change how my dice values are interpreted, so a bad looking roll is not always actually bad depending on what I have equipped. I can bring four scrolls into a battle and build around different ideas such as range, area attacks, survival or stronger damage. I like this because it gives me something to experiment with between runs. Instead of simply trying to get better dice, I am trying to make the dice work better with the tools I have chosen. The biggest weakness for me is that the whole experience is quite small. The core mechanics are clever, but there is not a huge amount of content surrounding them. Once I understand how the dice and scrolls work, the main challenge becomes improving my decisions rather than discovering lots of new systems. That is not necessarily a problem for a short roguelike, but it does limit how long I can stay interested. I would have liked more enemies, more scrolls and more situations that really pushed the system in different directions. I also think the randomness can occasionally become frustrating. The game gives me a lot of information and control, but I am still relying on dice, so there are times when the roll I need simply does not appear. Usually I can work around a bad roll if I have planned properly, and I think that is part of the fun, but it can still feel rough when several unlucky turns happen together. The game is at its best when I feel like I survived because I made a clever decision rather than because the dice happened to cooperate. The presentation is simple but I think it suits the game. The pixel art is cute and the witch has a funny contrast between her confident dark mage act and the fact that she is basically terrified underneath it all. The whole debt and failed witch idea gives the game more personality than I expected from such a mechanically focused roguelike. I also appreciate that it is free to play and single player, so I can just jump in and experiment with the mechanics without having to commit to a large RPG. Overall, No Mana, Just Dice is a clever little strategy game that does a good job making dice feel like a proper tactical resource instead of pure luck. I really like the four dice system, fully telegraphed enemy attacks and scrolls that change how my rolls work. The short length and occasional frustration from bad rolls stop it from reaching the highest ratings for me, but the central idea is strong enough to carry the experience. It is simple, unusual and easy to pick up, while still giving me some genuinely interesting decisions to make. For a free game, I think it is worth trying if I want something short that makes me think. Rating: 7.6/10
