No Man's Sky

10/10 for 10 years

I have spent the better part of my hours trying to figure out how to play with my friend to no avail, everytime we join up a couple of seconds later one of us just disappears, seemingly disconnected from the group somehow. This is extremely frustrating and every video and google forum we're looked up is no help. I'm sure the game is good if you're a solo gamer but if you have friends and wanna explore with them find a different game. I then tried to reach out to support and they responded with an email saying that there's a good chance that they won't even respond to my issue, gotta love it.

Has probably the greatest redemption arc in gaming history.

Honestaly, this review might be a little biased because Im one of the few people who LOVED the game ON RELEASE! Yeah it wasn't perfect, but me and a few other people actually saw the POTENTIAL in the game and that's why we loved it even when it was far from perfect. And look how the turn tables. The game is in an AMAZING state right now, it recieved all of the promised updates and more, completely for free (no DLCs or anything). The game itself is absolutely gorgeous and amazing, everything looks very beautiful and lush, ship customisation is very nice, there are a LOT of ship types and variations, base building is very satisfying, land vehicles are very fun to drive and there are a few different types. All in all it's a very, very fun sandbox.
