Nice and chill. Mechanics are simple and the gameplay loop is kind of whatever you want it to be. Gameplay loop at its core revolves arounds gathering minerals from different planets and traveling between systems inhabited by either small, trade oriented lizard merchants who do not seem entirely trustworthy, orcs with a very warrior-like mentality who sound like they might invade a neighbour if given a chance or clankers. There looks to be a 4th race but I'm not at the station to socialize so read a wiki or something. Expeditions bring a new twist typically revolving around the latest update, some have been great, others not so much. A bit of variety is always welcome regardless. Most important part is that the game has taken galactic steps forward from the abomination it used to be. Try it out, at this point the content is so varied there is bound to be something there for almost anyone. I've spent a bit of time with this game and still haven't tried everything the game has to offer.
虽然最后运行时间是2017年,我还是忍不住来个好评。 真的没见过这么认真负责的制作组,这第几个大更新了,然后一看一个DLC都没啊。 我原谅你了真的,你该出付费DLC了。
If you like crafting, this game is absolutely for you. The game to me feels like a giant to-do list. I have to craft something to craft something to craft something else in order to progress the game ..walking crafting fetching constantly trying to remember what I needed to get again… and then look it up in the menu. This game is just not for me. I love how it looks. I wish the game was less about crafting and more about the story.
1,600 km wide, 5 cm deep, a beautiful shell with zero mechanical substance. This is a wide, shallow exploration sandbox masked by brilliant aesthetic polish and dozens of isolated, surface-level features. The first several hours deliver a tight, goal-oriented survival loop—fixing your ship, unlocking the Hyperdrive, and reaching the Anomaly. By the time this hand-holding tutorial ends and you realize the game is about nothing, you are well past Steam's 2-hour refund window. Beautiful picture. that`s it.
The best game ever. 10 years of huge content updates with no price changes. Insane! It might be confusing first couple of hours coz the game drops HUGE amount of mechanics onto you. But when you get used to basic mechanics you'll see how much content the game offers you. I've played 560 hours so far and still I find content I didn't see before: hidden late game content, hidden galaxy, etc.

Really fun game but it only lasts for a while. It gets boring and repetitive after. Its more fun with friends.
No Man's Sky is a gem of gaming for anyone who likes sandbox games and exploration. While on launch it was known as one of the biggest disappointments in gaming history, it has come a long way and redeemed itself in the eyes of many. The gameplay loop is fun and engaging, while ground combat is nothing special, the ship combat, resource gathering and exploration are all quite enjoyable. The graphics are nice looking with its own art style that is pleasant to look at. Exploration always yields something tangible and useful to you not just pretty vistas. The community is one of the best in the gaming space, just all around incredible people. For those looking for exploration and getting overwhelmed by all the things to see and do in a vast space game, I believe it's the perfect fit.
