NMH is set in a radioactive exclusion zone known as the Asran Exclusion Zone. The zone is filled with dangers. Violent factions, constant fights, wild-life, radioactive emissions.
Asran suffered a civil war for 12 years and finally it all got to an end with a nuclear explosion. This explosion created what's known as the zone today. It also spawned strange illuminating artifacts known as the Radianite and today many factions in the zone are fighting over it.
NMH offers dynamic faction wars. Politics in the zone is very unstable. Many individuals wander into the zone and join one of the factions to pursue money. You will find yourself fighting against these factions or be a part of them. Choice is yours.

NMH focuses on offering the best combat experience you can have against a computer. NPCs use a cover based behaviour tree system. They can lean, crouch, self heal and use advanced search algorithms to overcome their opponents. NPCs will pick the best cover after analyzing the envinoment.
Goal is to create a combat AI that feels like playing against an actual human. Every individual is part of a faction in the zone. You will need to use your binoculars to observe people around you.
Getting caught in the open might be end of you, that's why you need to make sure you are always close to a cover.

Combat always carries risk of getting fatally wounded this is why you will always need to carry medical equipment with you. Antibiotics, bandages etc. Every wound requires it's own treatment. If you get shot, you will have to take the bullet out before you can use a bandage on that wound. Every bullet wound also carries the risk of infection which you will have to treat with antibiotics. NMH offers a very immersive healing system.
You will also have to worry about hunger&thirst in the hot desert. Explore the zone to mark the locations where you can find water and always make sure you have enough water. You will have to hunt to gather meat. You can use the dedicated camp fires to cook.
You will be able to collect resources and craft items when you run out of options.
The zone also has radiated areas you need to avoid. You can buy a geiger counter to make sure you avoid radiation pockets.
Zone occasionally suffers from radioactive dust-storms. During the dust-storms the ground will shake and wind will carry radioactive dust. You will have to immediately seek shelter otherwise you will risk getting radiated. If you get radiation sickness you will have to treat it with anti-rad medication.
Zone is also filled with wild animals which can sometimes be hostile. Always keep your guard on!

Incredibly fun. Obviously unpolished, but it's in EA so don't act surpised. This is what happens when a Far Cry 2 and a STALKER game love each other very much.. and their child learned about drone warfare. IN's: Very fun gameplay, combat is simple but intense, and with further development will only improve. There is already lore / factions being built and you will encounter them in-game. The world is already very dynamic with said factions fighting, sometimes in small groups, you might find a duo fighting a more well armed soldier lobbing nades from behind cover, you might find a 5-man sprinting full-send from a single dude and his FPV drone as they all blindly fire at the sky. This is the CURRENT ai in-game during EA. I imagine it will be built into something awesome in time. You will also find wandering soldiers in groups or loners trading goods or willing to share some zoney-ahh wisdom. Bounties are a cool little side mission ATM. I took one for some extra cash, upon killing the two guards with my bounty I realised after binoc-ing around and looking for his balloonhead that he was sprinting way down the road outta sight when he realised his guards were done for. He started running as I was still fighting them. After escaping he sent me a message on my PDA: "Missed me didn't you? Next time I see you, you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥." Truly this will be a great little masterpiece. OUT's: If I ask myself what I don't enjoy I can only find two things, one being quite major and one being easily fixable. A - the UI is way to clunky. It not only doesn't fit the aesthetic of the game but also takes up WAY to much screen real estate. Having no way to control the scale of the UI or even the opacity / position is quiet a let down for a game with so many pre-exisiting customisation options. However this is easily fixable and I am sure the dev has plans to address UI in the future. B - however, is more game-breaking. At the moment it doesnt matter whether all my settings are on low, dynamic resolution on or off, AA on or off, settings on high / ultra, windowed or fullscreen, simulation radius 100 or 400 - I cant get much more than 55-65 FPS and this is by no means the fault of my rig. I run much busier games that are much more intensive with much better results lol. This optimisation issue is significant althought I am sure patches will see it resolved in time. Overall, the game is well worth it - if you get great FPS you'll have grand old time. Buy and try, if no you can always refund however I'd wait it out! I think this will be a lil gem as updates are released!👌👌

> be me > bored and kinda heartbroken > see game for 10€ > "no mans home" > happy_lesbian_noises.mp3 > open game > its literally nothing but men with guns in a generic desert combat map > immediately refund jokes aside i can definitely see the stalker and far cry 2 references epic stalker cry 2: call of far game epic style just not 4 lesbians thinking they finally got the cool walking simulator that decenters men :(((((((( :))))))))))))))))))))))))
yo venia pasando, y habia unos lungos cazando unos chanchos, los chanchos me atacaron a mi. Lungos 3, chanchos 2, yo 0.
I love the concept and gameplay however theres a couple things that just completely ruin the game for me like when pausing for some time unpausing the game will cause the game to freeze for some time before sending you to your desktop (game does not close) also have a problem with starting a new save every single time i spawn in I am unable to move however these are not absolutely gamebreaking and you can get some good moments in mechanics, gunplay, etc is well done gameplay is fun just needs some tweaks
The game has potential, however it is very rough. There was a little effort put into the optimalization. The world feel stiff? It isn't at the same level as the games from which the author is clearly inspired by, and it is FINE, because it is an INDIE title. And from the bottom of my heart I wish that the game will achieve success. Sadly I cannot recommend to but it for the time being.
In the most surface level, vibes way, this is STALKER + Far Cry 2 This game is quite fun if you have fond memories of either of those. Updates are frequent and the vibes are there, it's already a great time and only getting better.
con mucho pontencial
