Ninja Stealth приятно удивила своим простым, но увлекательным стелс-геймплеем. Нужно аккуратно продумывать передвижение, избегать врагов и действовать быстро, когда ситуация выходит из-под контроля. Игра не перегружена лишними механиками и отлично подходит для коротких игровых сессий.

Ninja Stealth is a very simple stealth puzzle game where I am trying to get through an evil facility without being detected. The story is mostly just an excuse to give me somewhere to sneak around, with a chemical formula and an evil company sitting in the background. What matters more to me is moving through the rooms, avoiding guards and working out the safest way to reach the objective. It is a small game and I can tell that pretty quickly, but the basic idea is easy to understand and the levels get me into the action almost immediately. The main thing I like is how much of the game is about watching before I move. Guards, lasers and other defenses force me to pay attention to their patterns instead of simply running towards the exit. I can hide behind boxes and use the environment to stay out of sight, and some rooms are basically small logic puzzles where I have to work out the right route. I like that because the game rewards patience more than speed. When I get through a difficult section without being spotted, it feels like I actually solved the level rather than just got lucky. The levels also have enough little objectives to keep the basic stealth idea from becoming completely flat. Some sections involve finding keys or cards, while later areas introduce computers and more complicated security setups. I have to move around the room instead of always heading straight for an obvious exit. The game also uses different layouts and defenses to slowly make the challenge harder. It is not a deep stealth system, but for a small puzzle game I think there is enough here to make me stop and think. The biggest problem for me is the overall lack of depth. Once I understand how the guards and defenses work, I am still doing roughly the same thing in every level. There are not many tools or abilities that let me completely change how I approach a room. The stealth is mostly about avoiding things rather than giving me multiple ways to manipulate them. That makes the game easy to understand, but it also means I can start feeling like I have seen most of what it has to offer before I reach the end. The presentation is another area where I have to lower my expectations. Ninja Stealth is a game from 2016 and it definitely looks like a small budget project from that period. The environments are simple and the animations are not especially impressive, but I do not think the basic visual style gets in the way of the puzzles. The much stranger thing for me is the huge achievement count. The game has 5000 Steam achievements, which is far more than the actual amount of gameplay would ever justify. It does not improve the game itself and feels more like something attached to it than a real progression system. I think the game works best when I treat it as a short puzzle experience rather than a full stealth adventure. I can jump in, work through some rooms and stop without feeling like I have left a huge story unfinished. I also like that the controls are simple and the objective is always clear. There is no complicated inventory or skill tree getting in the way, so the focus stays on getting from one side of a room to the other without being detected. Overall, Ninja Stealth is a decent little stealth puzzle game that does a few things well but never becomes especially memorable. I like the simple level design, the need to watch enemy patterns and the satisfaction of getting through a room without being seen. The lack of deeper stealth mechanics, basic presentation and strange achievement system keep it from reaching the higher end of my ratings. It is fine for a short session when I want something simple and focused, but I do not think there is enough variety here for me to keep coming back for very long. Rating: 7.4/10
