About

From the acclaimed team behind Blasphemous, NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound successfully unites the classic lore and gameplay of the Tecmo-developed (now KOEI TECMO GAMES) NINJA GAIDEN series from the 8-bit era with the depth and intensity of the modern 3D entries. The best of both eras come together to create an epic and thrilling adventure.
Our story begins when Ryu Hayabusa journeys to America to honor his father's will. While he is away, the barrier between the human and the demon worlds suddenly shatters, unleashing a terrifying army upon the Hayabusa Village, which now faces an unprecedented threat in Ryu's absence.
To stand against this new threat, Kenji Mozu, a young ninja from the Hayabusa Village, rises to the challenge! Trained by Ryu, he fights fiercely but soon finds himself in desperate straits. Forced to tap into forbidden power, Kenji sets aside centuries of animosity and forms an alliance with the sinister Black Spider Clan, convinced that combining their souls and skills is the only way to protect the world out of the Demon Lord's grasp!
Combining old-school feeling with modern precision, NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound retains the pick-up-and-play action of the classic titles, while introducing new layers of depth.
Alongside the new protagonist, Kenji Mozu, is the skilled assassin Kumori. Take control of these two powerful ninjas simultaneously and unravel their interconnected stories.
Use the Ninja Fusion to unleash devastating abilities and obliterate your enemies. NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound features impeccable mechanics that are easy to learn but hard to truly master, challenging the skills of even the most seasoned fans of the NINJA GAIDEN series!
Step into a reimagined version of the classic NINJA GAIDEN universe, brought to life through stunning, meticulously crafted visuals. Every enemy is recreated with a level of detail that was once impossible.
The brutal, nostalgia-filled aesthetic of NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound pays homage to the past while pushing the boundaries of modern pixel art, making every battle a feast for the eyes.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I reached World 3-4, and for now I have decided to stop here. What the game does well, it does very well. Getting into its rhythm feels really satisfying. The problem is that losing that rhythm is frustrating enough to completely overshadow the good parts. It feels a bit like painting something you are really proud of, then making one small mistake that ruins the whole flow. Technically, the run is still recoverable, but the feeling of failure sticks. And when that happens every 20 seconds, it becomes exhausting. A lot of the game’s challenge comes from special enemies that force you to react instantly and understand their gimmick on the spot. Sometimes that works fine. Other times, it feels unfair in a very different way. You might have to hit a fast-moving enemy that actively tries to avoid you, unlike most of the other enemies in the game. If you miss it, or use the wrong attack color, there is no way to recover the opportunity. Your punishment is to stop, charge a special attack, and lose health in the process. At the other end of the spectrum, the game sometimes expects you to do... nothing. A special enemy shows up, you assume it is the thing you have to deal with, and by the time you are already improvising a backup plan, the actual solution finally arrives from off screen. Sometimes you simply have to wait up to two seconds for another enemy to appear behind you, then hit it with the correct attack color. Those two seconds sound insignificant, but they completely clash with the pace the rest of the game teaches you. By the time the enemy finally appears, I have already convinced myself that I missed the intended solution and started adapting. Instead of rewarding quick thinking, the game punishes it by asking you to hesitate. And eventually, the punishment gets harsher. Some of these sequences can kill you outright, no matter how much health you have left, simply because the level decided that this was the appropriate punishment at that exact moment. The result is the same every time: either you perform the expected solution perfectly, or you waste time trying to work around it. I have a deep hatred for die and retry games, and this one is not quite on that level for me, but it still ends up producing the same feeling. Follow the developer’s instruction perfectly, or spend your time trying to force a creative solution to a problem that was clearly designed to be answered in one specific way. Sure, sometimes you can clear a screen by parrying your way through it, but that feels less like solving the puzzle and more like sidestepping it entirely.
M: 6.5/10 + nostalgia feelings + actually fun + two characters with unique skills - very strange and not needed change of game speed - sometimes unnecessarily complicated levels - kind of useless shop
Tight controls, hard as balls bosses. Lots of fun
CLÁSSICO, MAS NÃO ANTIGO
