NightMaresToBe is an Early Access first person Unreal Marketplace asset flipped Russian adventure game. Most of the game assets are stock/from asset stores. The game is incomplete and has been in Early Access for a year. While it's still being patched, very little movement is being made and it's unlikely the game will ever be finished. Despite being incomplete, the developers are charging an eye watering $15 USD for a broken and incomplete asset flip. Gameplay is a fairly generic, broken sci-fi themed first person adventure schtick where you FPS your way around a small apartment and find you can't leave because the game is broken at that point. While it's still getting updates, it's deep in Development Hell. There's no reasonable expectation that this will ever be completed. Whether the developer lacks the time, funds, or skill/talent required to complete a video game isn't really something gamers should be expected to accept as an excuse. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement. Laughably, the developer just copy+pasted this from some raw HTML as it has paragraph and other HTML tags in it. This agreement includes questionable (and possibly law breaching) privacy requirements that no gamer should ever have to engage in. Developers must learn they are here to serve gamers, not control them. I had my cat walk over the keyboard while the EULA was displaying, which fixed that problem for me. The game is thoroughly broken... One example, laughably, is a "Picture of Elena" which is just a plain placemat sitting on a table. Surely, not a deliberate goof. The technical implementation of the game is worse in comparison. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. There's no other interface tweaks at all, so there's no way to improve the lacklustre visuals. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. Unethically, while the single studio/individual team is selling this game under Valve's failed Early Access program, they're abusing that program, and not working on this game full time, as they have other projects in the works. That means there's ZERO confidence anyone who buys this in Early Access will receive a complete game, and it's possible that they're being scammed.

Works on Windows 7 This is actually spooky, Kudos. There's a creature that you have to get away from or it kills you. It comes up fast, and you are really slow. I swear you must be a gnome or something in this game because you are soooo tiny and slow that you cant possibly be human...even if you're a kid. My note for the dev: I need to run faster and be taller, and the batteries in the flashlight should be better, and the light should go farther A map would be nice, too. Other than that, It's fun and pretty easy. I give it 3 outta 3 screeches
This looks quite good, however it suffers from many basic issues, like: - can't change options during game - options do not have proper UI (there is no background or outlines that would make text and sliders visible) - audio can cut off if you are too fast - many typos - utterly slow walking - cursor going out of the window (on multimonitor setup) - causing game to lose focus... 22GB of sloppy abandonware. From what I gather, you're supposed to travel between various nightmare simulations. I wasn't able to get passed the initial section and start the first simulation. You need some access card that I wasn't given and couldn't find. Either way, what I saw in the first 10 minutes of playing didn't really make me want to continue. The dialog is full of typos - I'm talking several per line. And not just some misspellings, but stuff like no spaces between words where it makes it obvious no effort went into it. The robot guards use very obvious text-to-speech. Speaking of NPCs, the majority just standing around not moving in a posed position. There are numerous other unpolished or poorly designed aspects - like the main menu being horrendous or the gun in your hand being unfocused. This game is in need of a ton of polish that it will never get. Avoid.
this game is so un-scary it's funny
Hat Potential, bin gespannt was noch kommt. Könnte ein bisschen mehr Story gebrauchen und Technisch etwas verbessert werden, aber ist ja noch Early Access :)
Megéri az árát.
