Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Aug 14 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
One of the greatest MMO RPGs of the early 2000s. I have been playing this game since I was a kid, and I am proud to see it remain a popular and beloved game with a lively community.

The main campaign: Flatulent. I suggest skipping it and reading a summary or just ignoring it altogether, since you can understand what happened by playing the last expansion. It's simply too long and too repetitive to be worthwhile. The after-the-fact excuse these days is that it's merely a 'campaign template' to promote the toolset. Yeah right, nice try. "I'm going to make a mediocre and boring campaign to show everyone what can be done with the toolset." Brilliant. Shadows of Underdark: A separate campaign with a new character (yes, you can import your character from the first one, but storywise the game assumes you are a new character). Better than the main campaign... which isn't saying much, really. Ironically, its main advantage is that it's shorter and, therefore, less tedious. The story itself is almost as bland. Hordes of the Underdark: A "sequel" to both... in a way. You use the same character from SoU and encounter characters from the original campaign and SoU. Aside from that, it's a standalone story and it's undoubtedly the best of the three, albeit in a cheap but undeniably effective way: You start at level 15, reach high levels and get hundreds of powerful items. But it works, and it's certainly more enjoyable than the previous two. Eventually, I'll try the premium modules (those that offer a complete story at least) and the fan-made modules. That's probably where the game's real spark lies.
6/10
One thing that make Neverwinter Nights such a great game: Multiclassing freedom — you can stack classes from a pool of 22 different ones.
Neverwinter nights, released 2002, a game of this scope was unreal, the only thing that came close at the time was Morrowind that released a month earlier. The game was complicated for people new to the genre ,no hand holding, solid puzzles, hard fights, but what made it great was lan with friends. It was a great experience. Fast forward to today, this is the definitive way to play the game. Not on offer it only costs £16.75, let me tell you what you get for that price, you get a game that has a campaign that can last over 40 hours, the first campaign took me 50 hours to complete, then after your finished, guess what, they is so much more! i mean the content is insane, this game, if you have the patience, can last you well over 200+ hours, not to mention recently ,as in 2025, they released new content!. Multiple characters, or make your own, multiple classes, although a little dated, is still good. A multiplayer game that works both internet and lan, with options of editing the gameplay with GM settings to make it easier or harder. Look, even if you never finish all the content, just to do the first campaign, the game is still a steal at the price it is, not to mention it looks a damn sight better then the 2002 version of the game. In my time playing i did not have a single crash, not one bug, while i played the game at 360 fps. Easily a 8/10 game.
