About
Neon Frontline is a single-player roguelike deckbuilder built around tactical battles across three contested battlefields.
The old civilization has collapsed, but its tactical terminals, corporate protocols, autonomous machines, and weapon systems are still running among the ruins. Choose a combat squad, cross increasingly unstable sectors, build your deck, and fight for control of three battlefields at once.

Every battle is fought across the left, center, and right battlefields. At the end of each turn, power is compared separately on all three. Win a battlefield to deal damage to the enemy.
Limited deployment slots force every Unit card to find the right position. Deploy Units, issue Commands, adjust their Power, and grant Barrier to gain the advantage this turn while preserving enough resources for what comes next.
Different enemies can also alter battlefield rules. A safe battlefield may suddenly become a trap, and a single misplaced deployment can disrupt your entire plan.

Choose from multiple squads, each with different starting attributes, a starting Relic, and a starting deck.
The Command Squad excels at establishing a stable frontline. The Allied Squad relies on the individual strength of its members. The Tactical Squad creates opportunities through deliberate discards and deck cycling.
Your squad defines the beginning of a run, while every choice you make during the expedition determines the tactical system it eventually becomes.

Acquire new Unit and Command cards after battle, then gradually refine your deck's cost curve, power distribution, and tactical synergies.
Collect Relics that reshape the rules of combat and exploration, and use Modifications to permanently alter a card's cost, Power, or effects. The right Modification can become the core of an entire build, while a powerful choice with a drawback may force you to rethink your route.

Advance through randomized routes across three Acts and choose your next destination.
Fight regular enemies and Elites, encounter unusual events in the ruins, buy supplies at shops, recover Relics from chests, or rest, modify, and duplicate cards at campfires. Manage your health, gold, and deck as you prepare for the Boss waiting at the end of each Act.

The old civilization is gone, but its systems refuse to stop.
Unattended settlement networks continue to collect old debts. Abandoned corporate facilities still enforce protocols that have long since lost their purpose. Survivors and armed factions fight over scarce resources using whatever technology they can recover. Push deeper into the ruins, make use of everything that still works, and find a way forward before the remaining systems spiral completely out of control.

If you like strategy card games you will enjoy this. It's a ton of fun. It's a little difficult even at the normal settings but the strategy of it makes it that much more satisfying. It is absolutely worth the $3. Some gripes/things I'd like to see 1-Card rarity seems skewed. Some common cards should be rare, some rare cards should be common. This is based on card usefulness. 2-Customizable team deck\Starting relic. I'd really like to create something of my own. 3-More cards or current card alterations to make the game more balanced. I skip more card reward options than I'd like just due to the fact they just aren't worth it. Overall I feel like this game is better made than most other strategy card games. It's simple and fun and absolutely worth the money.
