Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 28 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

it's good if you get it on sale (under $6) - many things aren't obvious and the hint system is poor at best (I had to look at a walkthrough twice), several puzzles are a complete guess using brute force the game is very linear - you can not go back to look for the extras once you finish an area the graphics seem poor for a game of this age (looks 10+ years older than it is) - the walking is painfully slow (and there is a lot of it) - I never felt immersed in it like you get from the myst series or even quern to sum up, it's good for the sub $6 price, but not worth regular price

So the game is very cheap in a bad way. * Graphics looks like it's from 2000s * Puzzles are 90% trial and error - very little logic behind them, and if actual logic exists it still forces you to brute force a lot * Story is artificially obscured, and when revealed looks very simple and "sucked from a finger" * Voice acting is school-level * Animations are from 2000s or even 1990s * Pretty short (a plus given above?) Overall this is a very mediocre puzzle game with pretty low quality puzzles also.
As someone who has played the developers other titles (Reah, Mysterious Journey 1 &2, Sentinel), I can say one thing about Detalion adventure games: They are insanely difficult! These are games, meant for people who think algebra is fun. That's quite literately a puzzle in Mysterious Journey 1, where you have to calculate the relative height of a set of pillars. Having only played 3 hours of this, I will say the difficulty has been reduced somewhat. The hint system is not all that helpful. It only seems to state the obvious. As far as the story goes, it's okay. Not great by any stretch of the means. The voice acting is horrendous, but that's the way all Detalion games are. I tend to overlook that. You play this game just to get to the next level, where you get more chances to poke, prod about and gawk at all the gorgeous scenery. If that's what you're looking for, then you'll find enjoyment in this experience. Hopefully, I won't loose my mind over some of these puzzles, like I did with Sentinel and Mysterious Journey 2. Those two games had some of the most ridiculous puzzles! I still have yet to finish Sentinel. It's been installed on an old Win XP laptop of mine for the past 20 years - sitting there, waiting for me to come back. Take another crack at it. OH, BELIEVE ME! I HAVE THE PATIENCE OF A SAINT! And you better have the patience of a saint if you're gonna play that game! Nemezis has yet to devolve into that kind of experience. Time will tell. I'll update this review as I go along.
For clarity, I played this on the hardest difficulty with hints/story off, I'm confident my feelings would be very different had I played on a different setting. Roland Pantoła does it again! Been a fan of his contributions to the puzzle-adventure genre since I played Schizm in the early 00s, and this clearly has the same DNA of the puzzle design in Schizm/Sentinel/etc, though definitely on the harder and more unusual end of the spectrum in my opinion. It consistently reminded me of my favorite puzzles from those games, and pushed things even further into unusual territory I wasn't expecting. If I was rating every vaguely Myst-like I've played purely in terms of puzzles alone, this is near the very top for me! To be clear: Schizm 1 is one of my favorite games of all time, like top 3 ever, and Mysterious Journey II also had some of the most consistently appealing puzzles to my tastes of any game I've ever played. This game reminded me very much of those two games in particular, it really did not disappoint, at the time of writing I'm feeling it was on par with them. This really is about one of the most creative and challenging collections of puzzles I've experienced in recent years. However, I absolutely would not recommend it for everyone. It's riiight at the edge of feeling incomprehensible, but I did complete every puzzle with no hints, and every solution made sense to me after. I can imagine many people thinking this stuff makes no sense or is tedious however, since it really did push the limits. Almost no puzzle felt "stock", even things I'd seen variants of before in other games would bring some new layer of creativity to the table here, and I'd say that very avoidance of familiarity is in itself responsible for quite a bit of the challenge. I found that very welcome and I wouldn't rather have it any other way, but be warned! The visuals and environmental creativity those old Detalion games had was still in-tact. Absolutely so much detail in every environment to look at it was almost endless! I even found myself taking pictures of the wildlife and stuff. I could wander around these places all day. Often disappointed I couldn't return to older areas, but greeted with new areas that kept having even more alien beauty to offer! This game totally nailed it. Also even with a different composer, the music still created the very distinct atmosphere those games had to me. I loved Daniel Kleczyński's work in those 90s-00s Detalion games so much that I was worried no one else could live up to it, but Paweł Górniak did a great job crafting a perfectly fitting sound. It's rare to be able to say that music this atmospheric is "memorable", but I repeatedly found myself feeling excited when certain parts of tracks would play, zoning out to these surreal synthetic sounds that really helped sell the alien visuals too. Since I played with the story off, I won't comment on that, but it seems almost amusingly contrasting from the atmosphere of the rest of the game from what I've peeked at ahaha. I would say, if you enjoyed Reah/Schizm/Chameleon/Sentinel, this game is for you. If you didn't---well those games only work for a very particular type of person imo, this is no different. Even avid fans of this genre often found those games to have unbelievably strange/difficult/convoluted puzzles compared to others of the time. I would only recommend this (and those) to fans of very, very difficult puzzles, with very vague, minimal information. but if you're the sort of person who enjoyed getting through even those with 0 walkthrough and have the patience to enjoy being stuck on initially incomprehensible things (or simply don't mind if an unusual/difficult puzzle may make you resort to a walkthrough). Well, this brings me a feeling I've been craving that I had scarcely felt since Schizm back in the 2000s. I'm overjoyed by the fact that this could bring me that, and blasted consistently fresh puzzle concepts at me that put me just right to the limit of cracking an initially impossible-seeming challenge. I would say it's a very particular type of game for a very particular type of player that isn't common. I wouldn't even necessarily recommend it to most Myst fans, but I was absolutely who this game was meant for: a hardcore Schizm fan. Thank you for the experience! I'm very thankful a game like this was released and I hope it's not the last we see from Ronald Pantola in this style!
A difficult game, but logical. So beautiful! You just want to explore.
Très bon jeu d'aventure
i had hoped this was a sucessor to schizm 2, but sadly this has 0 connections to the other games, the riddles are part tedious part guesswork, and the story is near non existent. the english translation is bad, the german one is even worse. the game tried to implement all the negative tropes about puzzlers. immersion breaking dialog that tells you to press the mouse button... repeating the same instruction every second time you look at a riddle where you have to go back and forth multiple times, and of course unpromtedly getting things explained to you that you wouldve wanted to solve yourself. and this is just the general gameplay. the levels look like they have been hastily assembled. so many pieces are misaligned, or have gaps, or overlap. there was 0 QC on these levels. very sad to see yet another good franchise go down the loo because someone wanted to make a quick buck
