Pure racing with no awkward open world to slog through - exactly how I like it. The voiceovers narrating each car's bio and stats are a great touch, the objectives are simple, and the racing itself is genuinely exciting, control is good on joystick. I picked it up after NFS Shift on PSP and NFS Heat on PC. Shift was the only one of those that clicked with me, and this feels close to it - better in a few ways. Playing as both an illegal racer and a cop keeps things fresh, and there's an online mode too, though I haven't tried it yet. Overall I had a good time, and there are enough modes here to stay interesting. If you want pure racing without the filler, it's worth a look.

The game is ok but all achievement grind is too much, 3/4 of the time was the achievement time 7/10 without achievements 2.5 with achievements
