A ridiculous continuation of the series, dizzying racing with a large selection of cars. Nice graphics, great sound and lots of drive. Definitely in the collection.

EA Back At it Again TLDR: Great game. Terrible Remaster. Plus external launcher/account stuff and controller issues. This won't lay to rest your wistful wishes for a proper, modern NFS experience. Hot Pursuit by itself was a great Need for Speed title. Underrated I'd say, in NFS conversations: - Good car selection - Improved Customization over older titles (the Hot Pursuit games don't focus on it like the tuner-centric titles) - Excellent Menus and Description Narration in garage - Really, really great Sound Design and Soundtrack - Balanced Break-to-Drift Gameplay - Good Map - Interesting Story Premise (Mediocre overall, not a paradigm shift from what you've come to expect from NFS Campaigns) So I was excited to play the Remaster, expecting a crisp, ironed out presentation. But of course, it wasn't. - 3 Cars were Dropped due to Expired Licences: - Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 Edition - Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Stirling Moss - Carbon Motors E7 Concept - NO proper Free Play mode even in the "Remaster" - No Local Split Screen options - No Manual Transmissions - Locked to 60 FPS - Poorly Optimized - Requires EA's Launcher app to play (like most other EA titles on Steam) which needs its OWN separate account, of course. - EA disables Family Share for all their titles on Steam - I was unable to configure a Controller profile in the Gameplay Settings It's all about gameplay with the Hot Pursuit series. Plug and play. Jump in without worrying about exact configurations or stressing over finding the exact colour for liveries. It's such a shame that the Remaster makes you jump through so many loops to get to it. Simply put, you are not getting what you payed for. And I cannot, in good conscience, support that, even in my heart where Need for Speed Hot Pursuit lives comfortably cushioned in nostalgia and good times.

You know what EA stands for? ---> EAT A$$ <--- Because that's what you're going to do when you pay for one of their games. 10x worse than Ubisoft. I will never buy another game from this greedy company. They treat players like cows at a slaughterhouse.

game is infuriating. Its not made to be fun. The game isnt about times or acceleration or horsepower, its about the awful mechanics designed to fk you over. Traffic that just spawns in front of you leaving you zero ability to avoid it forcing you to restart the race. Or how your cars agility goes away completely passing traffic causing you to hit them cause you cant evade. The worst part about this game though. Its the same 4 races hundreds of times. Over and over just in different parts of the city. And thats it. Same frustrating crap over and over and over Im so glad i didnt spend more than a dollar on this game cause it isnt worth it.
