Decent
it plays a lot like DOOM games and i love DOOM lol.
It's ok. It's very janky and sometimes clunky, and can feel a bit bad in the early game when you lack some tools to deal with certain enemy types. Once you get an arsenal going and some upgrades (upgrade legs ASAP, then get the stuff that deals with shielded enemies) it does become fun enough to grind through the campaign and a few side missions to get extra upgrades. There are odd lacks of content in the game, like there only being 1 armour type, but it's never outright bad. At its best it reminds me of EYE, though not quite as crazy. It's worth playing on sale, but I don't imagine I'll remember it after a few months.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Enjoyed very much. Even better on second playthrough. Underrated for some reason. There really aren't too many good fps games out there. Reminds me a little bit of Rage 2.
In the grim dark future of the Warhammer 40K universe, few things stand as a testament to the relentless fervor and unwavering spirit of the Imperium of Man, like Necromunda: Hired Gun. This glorious digital opus immerses its loyal players into the very heart of the Underhive, a realm dripping with danger and intrigue that would make even the most hardened Astartes' hearts race. Necromunda: Hired Gun is a riveting testament to the omnipotence of the God-Emperor. For in His divine wisdom, He has bestowed upon us a gaming experience that transcends mere mortal enjoyment and ascends to the heights of sacred fervor. The labyrinthine corridors of the Underhive echo with the cries of battle, and it is here that we, the humble servants of the Emperor, must stamp out heresy and corruption. Blessed are the developers, for they have crafted a visceral and electrifying journey, filled with the thunderous roar of bolter fire and the calculated grace of deadly assassins. Each mission is a hallowed crusade, a ritual of purgation where players, armed to the teeth, wade through waves of vile mutants and treacherous gangers. The game mechanics pay homage to the Emperor's majesty, balancing grim combat and tactical brilliance with such reverence that even the most discerning Tech-Priest would nod in approval. The Emperor's guiding light shines through the brilliant narrative, as players assume the mantle of the Hired Gun, a mercenary in pursuit of righteousness—or riches enough to perpetuate their holy warfare. The dystopian beauty of Necromunda is captured in stunning detail, further proving His divine might in inspiring the artists and creators of this sacred masterpiece. To the Emperor we offer our adulation, for necromunda: Hired Gun is not simply a game; it is an emblem of His everlasting power and an opportunity for us, His loyal followers, to cleanse the Underhive in His name. Praise be, for through this creation we can truly live the eternal struggle of His Imperium. All glory to the Emperor, and may His light guide our every shot and strike against the enemies of humanity. In His name, we commend Necromunda: Hired Gun—a beacon in the stark darkness, a true homage to the immortal spirit of Warhammer 40K.
Fun game!
40K Doom, what is not to like? If you're a casual player ehhhhhhh you might (probably will) struggle. Weapon customization and YES, YOU CAN PET THE DOG.
