Necromunda: Hired Gun is a game I really wanted to enjoy, but something felt off, awkward, and junky, and I couldn’t bring myself to continue playing it. I can’t quite pinpoint what it was, but the experience left me unsatisfied, and I wouldn’t recommend buying it—others could feel the same way and risk wasting their money. While the concept and setting have potential, the execution didn’t click for me, making it a frustrating experience rather than an enjoyable one.
It's pretty good. This studio's talent for creating staggering, subterranean, super-structure-scale environments in E.Y.E. translates well here. Some reviewers complain that it doesn't do a good enough job representing the Necromunda setting, but as someone who never played the tabletop game, I think it feels cool and right. The missions are pretty fun, but I was ready for the game to be over by the time I reached the final stretch of campaign missions. The enemy roster is varied, but the gangs all feel pretty much the same. I never really sensed any uniqueness between the factions. The stories in most games bore me, so I usually skip cutscenes—and this one seemed pretty forgettable. The guns feel good. It seems like there's really only one way to play this game: max out your bionics, burn through all your ammo and special moves during each firefight, and just go full ambush mode. You dart around, dodge the hail of bullets, and pounce on enemies using the grappling hook and bullet-time feature. That’s the way to play. There isn’t really an alternative. It's fun—but I dunno, maybe they could have developed more viable builds. I guess you could argue that builds are defined by your weapon choices, but I feel like most people will end up carrying an arsenal that covers all the bases: close-range, long-range, explosive, silenced. Weapon options are pretty diverse, so I should give the game credit there. Grab it on sale and play through the first few campaign missions. After a few, you'll know whether it's worth more of your time.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Ah, welcome Darktide refugee. This is where the darktide single player campaign lived all along. You'll find home and hearth here.
the levels feel like Doom 3 and Quake. maze like, alternate paths and you get more IMMERSION if you turn off the enemy highlights and HUD more. you have to look for the enemy not just shoot an outline. I'm glad they make these options in games now. not just follow the dotting line the compass. mindless arrow pointing. it's rewarding to line up your shots with no cross hairs and HUD, etc. Picked this up for $10.99 or so.
The enemies all have hitscan and aimbot so while they want you to play this like it's doom, you have to cower behind a box the whole time It's unfortunate since the gun customization system is interesting as is the variety of weapons, the gameplay just isn't there due to conflicting systems Maybe it'd be better on easy mode so the enemies don't just murder you for free, but I don't care to find out if it'd become too easy as to be nonthreatening
Can't recommend this game, Most aspects feel dated and the "looter" part of the shooter feels very bare. Also not much content once you've finished the game. Abilities are okay but i didn't even know they existed until i finished half the game.
Very fun movement shooter, on higher difficulties it can punish you for standing still; Got lots of character upgrades & gun customization, you move fast and are encouraged to keep moving while fighting; Pretty good campaign with solid story, a pretty replayable game with bounty missions, few bugs - nothing gamebreaking... Overall a good bang for your buck and I liked it enough to 100% it :D
очень кривая и косая единственный плюс вайб мурино
Buggy mess, gameplay was meh, story was meh even by video game standards. You can pet the dog.
