Reviews
Not sure why all the hate with this game. Its a pretty fun shooter with a really cool atmosphere. Game runs well, got stuck twice but aside from that, no major bugs with the gameplay. If you like Warhammer Dark tide then you'll probably like this game.
At first I was a amazed at the swift movement, the expansive and highly detailed levels, and the cool dog companion. Then the problems started mounting. - Movement is really janky when it comes to wallrunning, because the level detail is always in the way - There is no depth to the combat - Tons of weapons, all of them basically the same - Story and missions feel like generic placeholders, just to glue combat arenas together - Everything shakes the camera: player movement, shooting, getting shot, explosions, moving environmental pieces, earthquakes. I do not suffer from motion sickness, but this game really tries its best to change that. - It has tons of loot and customization, but all of them are "3% increase of ..." stuff. There is no meaningful loot and since you don't get explanations, the numbers often have no meaning to you. (How much better is +6 Armor? How much damage am I even receiving? How much impact has +3 Loot?) - And that combines with the awful menus. Loot is not just mostly meaningless, it is also a chore to deal with. If it had a bit more variety in its gunplay and if it would stop shaking the player constantly, then it would be a mid-to-good-shooter that I would recommend. Sadly the problems really outweigh the charm. --- Personal things that I also disliked, that don't feel like they fit into the regular review. You have a dog companion and can buy upgrades for them. They all look so horrific, that it pained me to upgrade the dog. I understand this from the point of fitting into the 40K lore, but it didn't feel like an upgrade, but torture. Why would I subject my loyal companion to this?? For slightly better stats.... I guess. Didn't enjoy it. Again, I get the adherence to 40K lore, but why is 90% of this game drenched in Nazi themes, designs and aesthetics? Maybe the world of 40K just isn't for me, but for every cool piece of design I found, there were at least 2 things that were "badass nazi". And it isn't like Wolfenstein, where it's you against the Nazis. Here it is "everyone is scum, so nazis fit into the here", which feels yucky.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The game is broken previously i played the game with no problem then after 1 year i said ok let play again i star game my old save it crashes. Ok then i star new game it work i played tutorial. After tutorial game crasshes again and again. And it a bad Warhammer 40k game i count change name to Mad Lads Apocalypse i bet nobody gona know is a Warhammer 40k game.
Is it great? No. Is it pretty fun and relatively grim dark? Mostly.
Boring
Lot of control aspects feel very sticky in a bad way. Had some problems where button pushes were not being registered for a few seconds, which is not really workable in a fast-paced FPS. Recommend avoiding this if you don't like having to deal with jank to play the game.
Game was inspiring all the way. Inspired me to rather read a book or do the dishes.
After finishing space marine 2 I was all excited to dive deeper into 40k games. This was not it.
I really don't get why this game got so much backlash. Maybe it was a buggy mess at launch and has been fixed since then, or maybe I just got lucky, because I genuinely encountered zero bugs during the 12 hours it took me to finish it. I'm not a 40K fan, so I wasn't invested in the story at all, but the gameplay is genuinely fun. It takes elements from the Doom reboot, mixes in a bit of Borderlands, and adds a drizzle of immersive sim mechanics on top. I'm here for it! It runs well, the visuals are decent, and the art direction is good. So why the mixed reviews? I really don't get it! The only "negative" thing I would mention is that it has a smaller scope and lower production values than what you'd expect from a bigger studio. So if you're looking for a long game with well-developed characters and a strong story, you'll most likely be disappointed. Give it a try and make up your own mind!
Unfun, even annoying to play, and on top of that, diablo loot + cod weapons detachment customization, what an abomination, straight to hell with this.
