About
Necromancer Idle: The Endless Drain is an Incremental/Idle game inspired by the RPG and Roguelite genres. Choose between three starting classes — Soldier, Ranger or Mage — and journey across a fantasy world while you improve your skills and grow more powerful.
The protagonist is blessed with the ability of rebirth, and has been cursed by The Necromancer's curse. A curse that drains your life force, making him more powerful while it consumes your power. You will have to fight your way through each life until you find the way to end him and put a stop to the curse.
Your stats increase as you practice them. By performing actions, you gain learned and innate experience in those skills. When you die, you keep the innate experience, which makes your character more powerful every time and progress faster, letting them reach further. In addition, by helping certain characters or performing actions you can mitigate the effect of the necromancer's curse. But you won't always be the one helping others — sometimes others will be the ones helping you.
Throughout the story, you may run into other characters created by you, who will help you in certain fights or to overcome obstacles that are impossible for you, easing your access to rewards you could not obtain any other way.
You will find obstacles that are very hard to overcome the first few times you reach them. You decide whether to dig in and keep trying until you succeed, or leave them to complete when you are more powerful. Both routes will succeed, but one may be more efficient than the other.
Some routes are inherently difficult for a class. You are not forced to take that route, but the hard route may hide a reward for your class. You can overcome the obstacles on these routes with the help of another character who has advanced far enough in the story, or by obtaining an item, skill or spell to get past that obstacle.
You can earn the favor of each region's gods by praying at their temples to ease the effect of the necromancer's curse and gain their favor in the fight against that area's boss. You will need all the help you can get in your fight against The Necromancer.
Necromancer Idle lets you set up a list of automated actions that will be automatically added to the action queue every time you enter a room, as long as you have already created that list. This way, when you die, your character will repeat those actions, doing them faster and reaching further, until they run out of actions to do upon reaching an unknown room.
You decide which information is useful to you. Customize the game's interface to your liking. Enlarge the panels you want to see better, minimize the ones you don't want to see at all. You can rearrange every panel however you like.
While the game is closed, you will accumulate time in your offline time Pool, which you can spend by setting the game to x2 or x3 speed, so you don't lose a single second of progress. The Necromancer is not going to waste it, and neither should you.
You must put an end to The Necromancer to break the cycle and rid the world of his evil. His influence spans the entire world, and people suffer under his oppression. But remember: to defeat him, growing more powerful is not enough. As he drains your power, he grows stronger too. Rebirth may not be enough — you may have to...
Reincarnation is a prestige system in which you lose a good part of your game progress, but in exchange you gain other bonuses that speed up progression — making it easier to beat The Necromancer in your race to see who grows more powerful, faster.
The entire first chapter is available in the demo. Try it for free before deciding whether the game is to your liking. If you buy the game, you can export your demo progress and import it into the full game to keep your advance.
New chapters with unique bosses that will challenge each class. Defeat them to obtain exclusive materials at guilds, colleges and academies, and craft special items that boost your stats and open up new strategies. Some bosses will require specific items to defeat them: a Mirror Shield to deflect their attacks, tools to cauterize the heads you cut off the Hydra...
New characters such as the cleric, paladin, bard or thief, among others. You will be able to create these characters, choosing their names, and run into them along your adventure, overcoming difficult obstacles or obtaining things unique to you.
But perhaps defeating the Necromancer is not the end... you will have to find that out for yourself.

Not really much of a game, just bars going up, not any real sense of what is going on, no real interaction, the narrative isn't much present, just a repetition of the same old task chapter after chapter until... well, I'll have to see that. But so far, no system other than you adding tasks to a list then waiting until you need to add more. I'm sure I didn't unveil the true depth of the game yet, but after two days of playing, I litteraly had no chance to learn anything new, interact, find anything of interest, and mostly feeling like the game is playing itself in front of me without a care in the world wheter I'm there or not... it's litteraly more alike a movie disguised as an old win95 RPG. I hope the dev see this and consider adding some kind of roguelike missions, some elements that would alter the earlier routes we take, and make it so the game actually change over the course of your actions, and retain some core elements while convaying a sense of interaction, because over the course of those 50h, I had 30 minutes of figuring out the layout of the map and the whole environmental storytelling, less than 5 minutes of reading, and litterally about 20 minutes of creating automations. Litteraly, it feel more like a demo of a concept rather than a full fledged game, and I hope that as such, this keeps getting develloped to include more substential elements to it, somes that would make us WANT to know how our characters are faring, along with the capacity to play all of them atst, idk why we're limited to play one at a time, when I feel so much more could have been done... this whole game could be more than just looking at the clock do more tick per hour over time. Cannot reccomend as for now, a dollar would be reasonnable, and unless I find substential gameplay elements that makes me feel otherwise, it's unlikely I'd recommand anyone to buy it. It's sad since the layout has a nostalgic scroller touch and personnality to it, but it's just surface level stuff, nothing for me to get my kick out of it.

Very similar to Increlution, has nice QoL additions. Seems like a ninja release without any promotions, demo and itch.io iterations which tells me that it isn't a cash grab and probably a quality pet project inspired by Increlution.
Un idle de progresión lenta y muy bien medida, entretenido y con un componente narrativo y de variedad de elecciones muy interesante. Se le nota el mimo y el cariño invertidos, ¡enhorabuena!
Extremely linear, with every zone being the same as the previous with no meaningful choices. LLM generated nonsense story and vibe coded UI with lots of issues.
"Increlution clone" - Yes, but seems like it has more features and a better interface. Only an hour and a half in, which has only gotten me to the third zone, seems really slow paced, which is the point of these games. Seems like the NG+ is more interesting than Increultion, and having mutiple characters is hella interesting?? I already made 3 just incase I can run into them near the start (??) Looks like I will reach 2 hours and not be able to refund before I really know if this game is worth it, but honestly the price is fine for what it is, and it seems to have a lot of content, although prepare to get to the second zone then basically AFK an hour till you can make it to the third zone, which I imagine is going to take like 5 hours to beat at this rate XD Impossible to give this a score out of 10 at this point, but its a good start to a game and I hope this game goes viral so it gets more content!!!
This is boring as ♥♥♥♥. Its just watching progress bars load. The theme is there. But none of it matters because all youre doing is watching progress bars. None of my level ups do anything but make the bars move faster. Not a good idle game.
This scratched the Increlution itch, only better, and with updates!
Out of all increlution-like games, this one seems to be the closest one to the original and a truly 'idle' game. I do feel like UI could use a little bit work, at least I would prefer to be able to 'snap' menus to each other, so I could easily have one menu directly below/to the side another one. I guess actions having small lore descriptions would be nice as well. But overall, feels good.
A game for fans of Increlution who would prefer to not have any meaningful choices or really any choices at all. Has nonsensical LLM lore, and has pervasive UI layout issues that are common for AI-coded games. I am happy to see another entry in this genre, but I think it would help if the developer figured out what this game is about beyond just copying Increlution's main mechanic.
