Nazi Zombies

Really fun game, can get stale after a bit but overall a good time waster. Can't wait for new content.

NZ is a great game for those seeking the classic zombies experience (and I'm talking CoD World at War levels of classic, my childhood). There isn't much for me to say because of my low playtime, but I genuinely found it to be a breath of fresh air after years of modern CoD Zombies (weapon rarities, armour plates, weapon loadouts, kill-based points, etc.). It was nice for low-damage SMGs to have value via points building, and having the gameplay loop just be Doors > Guns > Perks > Pack a Punch again. The thrill of rolling the mystery box was so great, and I say that because hitting the box in modern zombies is kinda pointless with loadouts - and no, pistol-starting modern zombies "just because you don't wanna interact with the loadout system" is not fulfilling with the rarity systems in play, that's a band-aid fix to a broader issue. ...Despite me saying that, I still play modern zombies, anyways. I can play and enjoy both, too. Evidently, there's a lot that can be said about modern CoD Zombies, but this is a review for NZ, not CoD. I just bring it up because, well, it's hard not to compare NZ to its direct inspirations (which are, in my eyes, primarily World and War with some Black Ops sprinkled in) and the current state of zombies in general. In the end, NZ is free! It's simple fun based off the beginning era of CoD Zombies, so...why not give it a shot?
