As a Nancy Drew mega fan, Warnings at Waverly Academy is one of my favorites in the series. As soneone who attended an all-girls' school, so many of the dynamics were familiar to me, and I loved being able to explore a historic girls' school full of mystery and intrigue. The puzzles and mini games are just challenging enough to have to use your noggin without being completely infuriating, and all of the characters are unique and interesting. You'll be wondering whoddunit until the very end!

Very enjoyable, great situation, characters, pacing and puzzles. I will definitely try other Nancy Drew games once I get through this

Nostalgic classic Nancy Drew!!! This copy was a surprise Christmas gift for the discs that I'd misplaced. But I'd forgotten just how difficult Senior Detective is. Still a great game and I love the mini games, playing darts and making snacks!

This is my favorite Nancy Drew game. I've owned it for over a decade on disc, but in an era where DVD drives aren't the standard anymore, I bought it on Steam too. :) I would classify this as a cozy feeling game, with lots of puzzles to solve and tasks to complete while staying in a wintry upstate NY private school. I take notes on paper when I play this game, which helps untangle the web of puzzles that enshroud the heart of the mystery: Who is sabotaging the school and its students? Who is the Black Cat?
I really liked this game as I love everything about mystery and solving puzzles. The only reason I didn't like this game was because it was super super hard for me to figure out all of the puzzles, especially the piano puzzle. Now, the books and papers DID give me all the information I needed to solve it, but I do wish there was a way you could skip some sections if you did have trouble with it. I could see someone stop playing this game because it was too hard to solve the puzzle without spoilers. Overall - the story was great and I LOVED all the characters. Only thing I wish is that you could have had more conversations with them that weren't about the case. You definitely could get to know them a little bit, but I wish there were also more opportunities for all of us together to do something, even if some classmates hated each other. You know like the game room and the movie corner, just a way to take a break from all the crime-stopping.
I loved this game until the ending. It had great potential but not enough story and the end puzzle was just too easy for me. Wish they added more story before the ending as it was just very boring and disappointing for me.
I cannot move forward in the game because the dialogue the characters are supposed to make for me to retrieve the objects I need from them doesn't trigger. Even though I perform all the actions necessary. I cannot get a refund either because they say I already played for 9 hours.
