Les premiers niveaux sont simples, lumineux et poétiques, et plus on avance et on s'attache à Naiad : on la fait aider des animaux, résoudre des puzzles, grandir. Jusqu'à ce qu'inévitablement, la fin arrive.

Surprisingly long for a solo dev project. It's a beautiful game that's mostly about floating down a river. There's quite a lot of puzzles to solve and stuff to collect, but nearly all of it is optional. I wish I had skipped herding the frogs to their lily pads, that was too finicky. I have some notes on pacing: the bits in the factory felt too long, especially when navigating through the sludge. I also feel like the story is a bit dated. It would have been more poignant if it had critiqued more recent sources of environmental damage like data centers.

NAIAD is a beautiful and serene indie game about exploration and nature. Perfect game to play while unwinding after a long day. It offers so many different ways to interact with the world amidst being limited to the river. I really enjoyed the overall theme and story of the game, as well as the different collectibles, secrets and tasks you can do throughout. The artstyle is gorgeous and really adds to the experience. I even started a second playthrough to get more achievements, although that part can get a little tedious so I didn't finish it. I strongly recommend this game!
