Mythic Love: Iberian Legends

It definitely has it's bugs, but the story and characters are charming enough that I can look past it.

Yo he estado trasteando con Ren'Py y más de una vez me he querido dar cabezazos contra la mesa, así que cuando veo una novela visual donde eres capaz de cagarla en una relación si no tienes cuidado de entender como funciona la cabeza del moñeco con el que interactuas, significa que la cadena de elecciones ha tenido sangre, sudor y muchas lágrimas, sobre todo lágrimas mientras le preguntas al programa qué más quieres de mí. Lo único que podría decir sería referido a las escenas, solo hay personajes que te miran cambiando su postura, y también voces, vi un post de BlueSky donde parecía que se barajó la posibilidad de un doblaje. En cualquier caso, supongo que con el tiempo quizás ambas cosas aparezcan, igual eso es lo único, creo. Las relaciones con todos todos los personajes disponibles son muy variadas y si acaso diría igual algo más de variedad y salseo en las conversaciones, pero puede que eso sea opinión personal. Y hasta aquí mi intento de hacer una reseña constructiva.

Me ha encantado TODO, las elecciones son la caña, me he reído muchísimo y lo importante, me he enamorado de todos los personajes. Aún me faltan algunas rutas pero adoro profundamente este juego, el diseño, la historia y el mensaje tan bonito e importante que tiene acerca de nuestra cultura.

A very cute game that is clearly a passion project, and a love letter to story-telling and community. I think each route is worth playing to get a full picture of the characters and all their myths, and also to see some scenes from different perspectives. I'd definitely recommend choosing one of the 'main heroes' as your first playthrough, to see the story from its primary POV, before doing the 'villain route' with Gaueko. (Though Gaueko has probably become my favorite, between a combination of Excellent Tropes in romance stories and also he's just My Type Of Freak you know?)

This game was fun and sweet. I really loved the characters and art design. I've only unlocked one ending and plan to do more at a later date. The writing was a little stilted; I'm unsure if that's due to translations or just how it was written, but it felt unrealistic and rushed at times. The story was fairly predictable and kinda fast; I wish it would've been a bit longer, but it was still fun for what it was. I think it's interesting that you can romance the "villain" (altho I haven't done that route yet) and can have numerous endings, including a polyam one. I appreciate being able to choose your pronouns and there being a trans character in the story; I would've liked a nonbinary love interest tho. All in all, it was worth the money, clearly a product of love, and I look forward to what they might do next
