Really fun with friends and cant beat sale price! Wish It was always $10 or less tho so increase playerbase.
Don't even think about playing it, watching my grass grow has better combat than this, if u play 1/2 runs u basicly saw 90% of the game tbh, so idk just go play any other game.
It's a pretty fun little slasher dungeon crawler type game. I remember seeing it when it was first shown off and being impressed by the concept and style, which still really holds up. The visuals are great, but the music especially gives it all that Saturday morning cartoon vibe. My only real problem with it is that I wish there was just a little more. One last pass to polish the janky bits, one more act (three levels) somewhere in there, and one or two more playable characters would've really made it feel complete. I understand it's a small team and the game didn't sell very well, so I'm content with what's here.

This is a short but charming game. I played it solo and beat the game's campaign on the Normal difficulty in 7 hours. There's a bit of replay value with the extra difficulties and characters to play as. I think this is a fine game to play with some friends. EDIT: I've now beaten the game solo with each of the four characters. This has taken me 27 hours. I've also 100%ed the game while I was at it. Here are some more thoughts: I appreciate that each character has their own dialogue during the missions and Daedalus has unique dialogue with each of them after completing each mission. This adds a bit more replay value to the game and makes it more enticing to play the game again with another character. The final cutscene even has unique animations for each character! Each of the four characters has their own charm but one of them stands out as the worst character by far, Maggie. Everyone else gets access to sweet upgrades on their skill trees while she is left with effectively nothing. I think she's supposed to be a support character but I honestly don't think she does this very well. Her kit doesn't lend itself well to supporting her allies. She also has the most filler abilities out of the 4 characters (ex: "power attacks have a 10% chance to apply a buff for 5 seconds", meanwhile the other characters have upgrades that instantly refresh their cooldowns if they get a kill). My thoughts on the cast as a solo player are as follows: - Hawkins is the coolest and strongest character. He can upgrade his homing arrow ability to instantly refresh its cooldown if it kills an enemy, which leads to situations where you can clear out an entire room with just that ability. I found all 3 of his abilities to be relevant and fun to use throughout the campaign. - Rico is very charming. His background as Daedalus' minion leads to some fun dialogue. His abilities are also very satisfying. A solid character all around. - Victoria is decent. I like her design and personality as the leader of MythForce. Her abilities quickly became irrelevant to me though. I basically only used her shield throw ability in the late game. - Maggie is interesting in concept and has a unique personality in the group. Sadly I don't think the execution of her ideas is very good. Her barrier/shield ability is very useful but it's insanely bright and nigh impossible to see through. I think she would be a lot more fun to play as in a group. The bow is the weapon I defaulted to during every playthrough due to its fast attack speed and high damage with the triple shot upgrade. It can legitimately melt through a boss' HP.
ok game. but the levels or areas are to small, the badys are pretty mindless. and its so simple and basic that there isnt much to it at all. but the worst part of the game is that every time i load it up it takes nearly 15-20 minutes to load from the first load screen. the graphics and game isnt that high there is no reason it should take that long to load this game. i have a pc that can even the newest of games on max gfx with zero issues at over 164 fps. would be a fun game but its to limited in almost everyway, and the crazy long load time to even boot the game up is just the last (or first how ever you want to look at it) nail the coffin for me. not worth it. devs need to go back and fix these issues.
