( •̀ᴗ•́ )و 🥚✨ "I will return for the full game!" (A cozy little tease that left me emotionally scrambled in the best way.) I saw a video on this game and decided to try it out for myself. Here's the video, btw: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-InDajk_rE If you’ve ever dreamed of running a magical egg shop where every egg feels like it’s hiding a tiny secret, Mystery Egg Shop Simulator: Prologue is basically a warm hug wrapped in pastel colors and cozy vibes. But ohhhh boy… this prologue is the ultimate tease. 🕒It took me about an hour and a half to get through the tutorial — not because it’s hard, but because it’s surprisingly detailed, cute, and oddly soothing. You learn the ropes, arrange your little shop, crack open some mystery eggs, and start feeling like the proud owner of the coziest egg boutique in the universe. And then… 😭 The Prologue Says “That’s Enough, Sweetie” Once you finish the tutorial, the game hits you with the softest, gentlest heartbreak: There’s nothing else to unlock until the full game releases, but you can keep playing. Like… excuse me? I was JUST getting attached. I was ready to become the Beyoncé of egg‑based retail. (˘•ω•˘)💔 I want... more eggs. I can see the game's potential in future updates. I really like the artwork and the creating-your-own diorama feature. Dev, release the full game soon!!!!!!

I spent all my money buying minimons, put them up for sale in my shop at an overprice, and for some reason no one is buying. Then I opened everything, got nothing but junk, and I can't put it on the shelf to sell — I'm bankrupt. The game is crap :(
SUPER!!
╔══════════════════════════════════════╗ ║ 🥚 MYSTERY EGG SHOP SIMULATOR 🐣 ╠══════════════════════════════════════╣ ║ ✨ Hatch Weird Eggs ║ 💰 Sell Funny Creatures ║ 🐥 Become Egg Billionaire ╚══════════════════════════════════════╝
I downloaded Mystery Egg Shop Simulator - Prologue thinking it would be a chill little shop sim. Instead, it's turning me into a sleep-deprived plastic egg gambler running on pure dopamine.
The gameplay loop is SUPER addictive: 🛒 Stock shelves 👥 Manage customers 🥚 Sell eggs sealed for safe money 🎲 Or crack them open chasing rare collectibles 🧸 Build themed dioramas to increase value And honestly? Opening the mystery eggs gives a legit adrenaline rush. Every time one starts opening I’m like: (\_/) ( •_•) / >🥚 "Rare figure pls" 90% of the time it’s a repeat. The other half I’m suddenly protecting a tiny action figure like it’s a family heirloom. Additional pros: Cute artwork for figurines (not AI) and "getting started" instructions are clear. Didn't seem to be any game-breaking bugs, however, I did get stuck once in my phone menu but that was resolved. Controls are pretty simple. I like the decoration options so far in customizing the shop, more available in full game. I can see the potential in further updates. I kinda went broke opening so many boxes instead of focusing on customers, whoops. Also, a good tip is to price your items high, AT LEAST at market price - a mistake I made in the beginning...these ungrateful customers were getting a steal! I really like that the game already hints at bigger content later on. I’m egg-cited 🥚 to see what the future licenses contain and what kinds of collectibles unlock in the full release. The prologue already has that dangerous “one more day” energy, so I can’t wait to see how big the full game gets. ┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓ ┃ CUSTOMER: ┃ "Do you sell eggs?" ┣━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┫ ┃ ME: ┃ "No." ┃ *opens all stock* ┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ If you like shop simulators, collectible hunting, or games that have you losing time in a good way, definitely give this a try. If you're still not convinced, check out this video I made of my first few days: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-InDajk_rE 🥚💸

Customers freeze at counter without giving me card or cash so there is no way for the game to progress unless i exit the game and restart from previous save however i lose the items the customers have removed from the shelf. Seems like it would be fun and enjoyable but in its current state I can't play for more than 5 minutes without having to restart.
Enjoying this game. Can't find the key toorder new products, I feel this may be totally age related. I am in my 70's.
Mystery Egg Shop Simulator - Prologue takes the familiar first-person retail simulation formula and gives it a collectible-focused twist. Instead of simply purchasing stock, arranging shelves, and collecting money from customers, much of the appeal comes from deciding what to do with the mysterious eggs passing through your store. Developed by Rocinante Games and published by PlayWay S.A., this free prologue introduces the basic systems planned for the larger experience while keeping its progression intentionally compact. It works well as an introduction because the central concept becomes clear almost immediately: build a profitable shop while resisting, or embracing, the temptation to open your own merchandise. Running the store involves several hands-on responsibilities. Products are ordered through a computer, deliveries need to be handled, shelves must remain stocked, and prices can be adjusted according to your business strategy. Customers enter the shop, browse available merchandise, and eventually bring their purchases to the register. Handling both cash and card transactions makes checkout more interactive than simply watching numbers increase automatically. Cleaning and maintaining the shop adds another routine responsibility, creating the feeling that the player is personally operating the business rather than managing everything from a detached menu. The mystery eggs are what separate the game from more conventional store simulators. Every egg represents a choice. You can place it on the shelf and take the safer profit from a customer purchase, or open it yourself and discover the collectible hidden inside. Figures come in different rarity levels, including Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Legendary. Opening an expensive or potentially profitable egg therefore creates a small gambling-like moment of anticipation, although the rewards remain entirely within the game's fictional economy. A disappointing figure can make selling the unopened egg seem like the smarter decision, while discovering something rare can justify taking the risk. Collecting also connects directly to another important mechanic: dioramas. Figures belong to different themed collections, and completing the necessary sets allows them to be combined with matching diorama bases. Completed displays can become significantly more valuable than their individual components. This gives duplicate hunting and collection completion an actual economic purpose. Instead of opening eggs purely for the satisfaction of filling a collection, players can turn successful sets into premium merchandise and feed those profits back into the store. Several product themes are available during the prologue, giving players enough variety to understand how the complete game's collecting system is supposed to function. Progression encourages reinvesting earnings into additional merchandise and gradually improving the business. Decorative elements such as carpets and plants provide some personalization, although customization is naturally limited compared with what is intended for the full release. More substantial features, including broader store expansion, additional customization, extra products, and employee management, are associated with the larger game rather than this introductory version. The first-person perspective is particularly suitable for this kind of simulator. Stocking merchandise manually, operating the register, cleaning, handling deliveries, and opening collectibles make ordinary shopkeeping activities feel tactile. There is a pleasantly repetitive rhythm to preparing the store, dealing with customers, earning money, and deciding how those earnings should be reinvested. Players who enjoy methodical simulation games may find this routine relaxing, while those expecting rapid progression or constant variety could find the repeated retail tasks somewhat monotonous. The presentation is functional rather than extravagant, but the colorful products and collectible figures suit the lighthearted premise. A day-and-night cycle helps structure the routine and makes each business period feel like a small shift with its own preparation and cleanup. The relatively modest system requirements also make the prologue accessible to a broad range of gaming PCs. Some material textures are disclosed as using AI-generated content, which may be worth knowing for players who pay attention to how visual assets are produced. Steam Deck compatibility is currently best regarded as unverified rather than officially supported. There is no established Steam Deck Verified or Playable status to guarantee an optimized handheld experience. The game's first-person controls could potentially translate reasonably well to a controller-based layout, but players should not assume perfect compatibility, text readability, performance, or controller support until an official Deck rating or sufficient testing confirms it. As a prologue, the biggest weakness is naturally its limited scale. The business systems have enough depth to demonstrate the concept, but they stop before developing into the more elaborate management experience that the premise could eventually support. Repeated stocking, checkout work, cleaning, and inventory management can become predictable, and the available selection cannot sustain the same longevity expected from a complete simulation game. Fortunately, the mystery egg mechanic continually injects small bursts of excitement into the routine and gives the experience an identity beyond simply running another virtual store. Overall, Mystery Egg Shop Simulator - Prologue is an enjoyable demonstration of a clever combination of retail management and collectible hunting. Its strongest idea is the constant decision between selling an unopened product for dependable income or taking a chance on the collectible hidden inside. The diorama system makes those collectibles financially meaningful, while the physical shopkeeping mechanics provide a satisfying foundation for progression. It remains unmistakably a limited preview, but it provides enough substance to show considerable potential for players who enjoy casual business simulators, collecting, gradual upgrades, and hands-on management. Rating: 6/10
