Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 31 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I remember feeling sad while being bullied at school for wearing my hair as Yugi from Yu-Gi-Oh. Getting home and playing some Mysims to cheer me up was the only comfort I had. To this day it remains a childhood favorite of mine because of all the memories I made here. This game is special not only because it was my comfort from bullying, however, it was also a game my grandma randomly picked up for me before she passed when we finally got a Wii, and that same copy sits proudly on my shelf right now. It inspires me even today in all my stories and art, and seeing it be brought up back and rereleased at all makes me wanna cry. This is one of my favorite game of all time EVER, but it’s not for everyone. I'm going to be brutally honest. If you're not the type of person to have a strong imagination and make a lot out of a little then MySims probably isn't the series for you. l've been playing this series since I was younger and I'm almost 38, so it's stuck with me for years, but I feel like a lot of players now a days can't see themselves sticking with it (or just playing it once and never again). A lot of the MySims community is heavy on creating OCs and backstories for characters, building friendships with characters etc. Yes there is not much to "do" but the more you play, the more you can unlock new items and you can go back and remodel houses, areas, etc. But yeah, MySims and MySims Kingdom are rather linear and you really have to use your own imagination to get a lot out of the game. Considering this series has stuck with me for so many years, I personally never found myself getting bored with it but it’s not the same experience for everyone. Some ideas to make it more fun for you is create a character with a fleshed out backstory, start a new save and invite sims to your town that you wouldn't typically invite, remodel houses and areas, deck your own house out with a bunch of furniture (sims actually visit your home depending on the essences you use on furniture). Get really immersive with it! The only thing I don't like is the controls, but as someone that grew up playing these games I still absolutely love them and it feels so nostalgic and cute and I can see how kids today could end up playing it for hours on end like I did back in the day. Overall, it's pretty good for a port and I recommend it, just be mindful of what you’re getting yourself into. Objectively it’s a 7/10 at best, but in my heart it’s 20/10. My childhood!

This game is just a port of the original MySims PC with much needed added quality of life features such as; HD textures, added NPCs, and my personnel favorite the ability to move sims into the Gardens! I recommend this game for anyone that wants a cozy experience with a lot of replayability. One downside is the grinding for essences, which can be tedious and sometimes even feel like a chore. One thing to note is that the multiplayer features from the original MySims on PC are not in this version and unfortunately the developpers have said that they won't be implementing them.
A fun little nostalgia trip! I still love these games dearly, particularly the original MySims. Used to spend hours playing both titles on the Wii. Nostalgia goggles or no, they do have some turn offs, though. So for those unaware, both games in this little bundle are essentially The Sims, but super simplified and toned down for kids. So there's no super meaningful way to communicate with the NPCs; just a be nice option to improve your relationship with them, a be mean option to make your relationship worse, and a general talk option which does nothing to your relationship and instead gives you a little bit of info on what the character likes or dislikes, or some little backstory nibbles. Kingdom's story and character writing in particular also annoys me now, as an adult, because of how the characters were made to become even worse exaggerated trope charicatures... so the dialogue kinda grated on my nerves enough that I started skipping it on some of the islands. Especially since some returning characters were never that bad/irritating originally, and actually had a smidge of nuance, in the original MySims. Anyhow, the real draw of these games is the decoration aspect. The OG MySims has a suprisingly robust creation system for decorations that allows you to tailor anything you have a blueprint for however you see fit. So long as you get the blocks you use within the required areas so they can function as the item you're creating (fridge, pipe organ, etc), you can make things as cool or crazy as you desire. The essences you collect can be used as paints with some neat patterns, and also work as replacements for the aforementioned building blocks. So combos like a table with a tiger stripe tabletop with a literal thorn as its base are possible. Kingdom nixes that feature entirely, as well as using essences as paints, but gives nicer looking decorations, a wider selection of blocks for the buildings to choose from, and more "grounded/IRL-based" paint types for walls, floors, AND some parts of decorations. The caveat is that you need to spend mana to be able to use them; not enough mana means no item placement/texture repainting until you gather more. Essences in Kingdom instead get used to fullfil scroll blueprints for new items to use. You can still place them into the world, however! Kingdom also added further complexity factor with the ability to use machinery, which is neat! As you progress the story, you can gain the ability to use gears, electricity and water pipes to power some contraptions. I was delighted to discover that the OG MySims in this bundle includes the personal garden area — as well as all the characters locked behind that version — which I never got to experience as a kid because it was apparently exclusive to the DS. This means more space for characters to move in, as well as a ton of new essences to find and use. I have, however, noticed that the stone rings of the tree planters float. So there's a little optimisation that needs to happen on that front... Ofc these games are great for their intended audience of young kids, but they're also super relaxing and stress-free games to play for older audiences. I can't speak for the keyboard and mouse controls brcause I'm almost exclusively a controller play girlie, but controller controls (lol) are a little weird to get used to at first, since they're adapted from the Wiimote controller and nunchuck style. Though after that initial learning curve, it's smooth sailing.
fun nostalgia! Hoping they remaster more of the mysims games
They put an alice the returns costume dress for me. Somebody in EA in the design section is one of us. I love them. I forgive them for everything. 10/10. Still ass tho
I played this game and the Kingdom version on the Wii. It was my absolute childhood that I probably spent thousands of hours on, so this brought heavy nostalgia. It was my escape. People may think that these games are just kid versions of the main Sims franchise, which is true to an extent, but it is also so much more than that. Just give it a chance. HOWEVER Achievements? :c Gutted that there are none!
childhood game :D i wish it was like nitendo ds version, but it's somehow different Q-Q but i still love sims
I played both MySims and MySims Kingdom on my Wii every chance I got as a kid! Still has the same charm now as it did back then!
Nintendo DS https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3784888087
One of my favourite Wii games, it works really well for a Wii port (as far as I've played). Building everyone in town custom furniture is way more of a time sink that I remembered though.
