There are many things about this game that are genuinely great. The concept is truly original and actually works. It's rewarding to build your little islands with singing monsters on it. The monsters are cute and make you want to collect them. The resulting songs sound a lot nicer than I expected. The game mechanics are overall pretty well built and give you a good balance between having stuff to manage but also staying chill. The reason why I wouldn't recommend it is that it is not truly an FTP. The game is weighted so your gaming experience will be heavily hindered unless you are prepared to buy stuff. On my first play session, after 2 hours, I found myself stuck. There was genuinely nothing I could do in the game but wait for hours, or buy a pack with diamonds in it, because I had exhausted all the activities available to me with my resources, and there was nothing I could do to gather more. I just logged in this morning and was only able to do a couple of things before the same thing happened again. I absolutely HATE it when a game dictates my playing pace. If I want to continue playing for free, I'm going to have to log in twice a day and play for a few minutes each, and hope that further down the line gathering diamonds become easier to obtain (which doesn't seem likely). But you know what? I would not mind paying something for this game. The problem is, as with every FTP, that the purchases (whether in-game resource packs or DLCs) would require spending far more than the game is actually worth. Some of the basic resource packs are USD 20 each, this is more than I would pay for the entire game, given the amount of content inside. This game would be so much better if it were simply priced reasonably as an upfront purchase and then had appropriate mechanics for gathering the resources you need in order to actually play.

When I'm done with something really stressful I can settle down on my singing monsters and listen to them sing, and some of the islands are actually pretty good. This game is kind of a daily thing in late game, you hop on in the morning, breed, hatch, and collect money from your monsters, and hop off. I usually play only 1 hour a day, but that 1 hour is one of the best parts of the day. I can't promise that this game will change your life, but it's free, so give it a try!
I'm clouded by childhood nostalgia but definitely a good farming sim/creature collector if you like music. I still listen to the songs
Really fun game if you have patience, this game is meant to take years to complete and I kinda like it cus you have something to do when you're bored. Like why would I not want to start the game everyday and force my monsters to breed. 10/10
игра детства просто, бывает приятно вернуться в неё раз в 5-10 лет
This game has become a complete joke. I used to play it all the time when if first came out on mobile, where it was just a game about collecting monsters, but it has gotten to a point where all the developers care about is money. It is literally impossible to progress in the game more than a fraction a day without spending money on gems. It gets to a point where all you can do in one day is collect coins from your monsters, and breed 1 monsters that takes 12 hours to breed and then another 12 hours to hatch. You need gems to do anything progressive in the game, for example, upgrading a castle so you can actually just place monsters on an island. Oh wait, it's 60 gems to add more beds, gems that you can only buy. These new events are just "spend $10 to make your island look different" or "omg there's this new monster, spend 500 gems that you don't have on it" or "omg ANOTHER island that you can only send monsters that are level 10000 to which takes hours to cook the food to level them up". This game is just a game of waiting hours and hours for little reward, or spending loads of money to progress. It has lost all of it's charm and magic.
Mobile Game with timers and microtransactions on steam? Why? I mean the songs are good but its not really my thing.
bom do, bom bom do-we, bom do, bom dowe wowowowowowowow
Peak music (except for like 3 songs but who cares), biweekly updates, community events, amazing designs. Of course there are microtransactions as 90% of mobile games do, and that also means it is a bit harder for f2p players but that makes accomplishing something that much better
