Motor Town: Behind The Wheel

This game is an absolute gem. Tycoon simulator, driving simulator, life simulator, whatever you want to call it, this is a fantastic game and I love seeing how active the devs are and the community seems great. I can easily pour hours into this game and even though I play solo, I really enjoy it. It's relaxing and mod support is pretty good, but I don't know how they work on multiplayer servers. The driving physics surprised me a lot. They're very good, the subtle "thud" coming from your tyres when you hit a pothole or crack in the road is a great attention to detail. Very good game!

Don't be fooled by the cartonize graphics - it's a super cool game, especially as a multiplayer game. Lot's of things to do and vehicles to drive with lots of details you won't find in other simulators. Cool and relaxing hanging out with friends.

If you have a 15 year old who is prepping for their learner's permit, buy them this game. Not because it will give them the skills they need to become a successful driver, but because in your first session behind the wheel with them you will hear things like: "Wow Dad, I never thought it could be so easy to drive a car" or "is there really this much friction between rubber and asphalt?" or "I can't believe the car's center of gravity makes it so stable!". As another Steam review mentions, I actually think the Devs may have never driven a car. This may sound absurd to people from rural areas of western nations, but not very implausible overall when you think about it. While there's a trend lately to utilize cartoonish graphics and pass it off as stylistic choice over shear laziness, the graphics in this game feel fuzzy and cheap. The core premise of the game is: do task, earn money, use money to invest in something bigger, do bigger task. This is right up my alley and the game might have been fun for me, but between the driving physics and poor visuals I just can't recommend it.

o jogo esta simplesmente insano... mas uma adiçao que faria total diferença na imersao do jogo seria adicionar um painel com temperatura de freio e temperatura dos pneus... simular fadiga de freio com cargas pessadas e ia fazer o sentido de uso do freio motor... adicionar mais upgrades de veiculos no modo geral... mais opcoes de pneus, turbos... pneus pra barro... eu percebi que so tem em alguns veiculos... mas esta incrivel... ahhh e se possivel dem um suporte a mais pra quem joga nos volantes g27.. achei a embreagem muito arisca... meio que usa 10% do pedal nao tem como fazer controle de embreagem, e o freio esta muito arisco, eu encosto no pedal as rodas travam.. NAO É CONFIGURAÇÃO ja fusei em tudo e nada resolve... parabens pelo jogo esta incrivelmente incrivel
