About

Morgenstern is a single-player and multiplayer roguelite hack-and-slash adventure with extraction mechanics, developed by a team whose previous credits include Lead Animator on 'Manhunt 2', Producer on 'No Rest For The Wicked', and Destruction Artists on 'Split Second'.

In "Morgenstern," you dive into a procedurally generated world to defeat hordes of dangerous enemies and find valuable treasures. Once you successfully conquer the final dungeon of a biome, new, even more challenging adventures await. The extraction mechanic requires strategic decisions on when to push forward and when to retreat to secure your loot and reputation.

Destroying objects in the environment allows you to gather resources, replenish Health, Mana, and Armor, and find new weapons.

Level up during combat by killing enemies and gaining reputation. Acquire new weapons, spells, and abilities to gain even more combat power. Permanently improve all characters by collecting valuable crystals used to upgrade the Morgenstern and, in turn, enhance your characters' abilities.

Team up with friends in co-op mode or test your skills against other players in intense PvP battles. In PvP mode, you encounter opponents who, once defeated, will fight by your side.
In the game's PvE mode, you face challenging AI opponents, providing plenty of entertainment and opportunities for sustainable improvement, even in solo mode!

If you die in PvE, you return as a pig, giving you one last chance to defeat your enemies and escape with loot and reputation. This unique mechanic adds an exciting twist to the gameplay and ensures that no run is truly over until the bitter end.
Are you ready to inscribe your saga into the chronicles of legends? Download "Morgenstern" now and embark on an epic medieval journey like no other.

Du metal dans tes oreilles... et dans tes côtes, dans ton crâne, tes bras... Ce jeu me plait.

I bought it for the soundtrack... and it did not disappoint. it's a pretty banger co-op roguelite hack and slash, decent enough progression, id just ask for unlockable combo's or something to spice the combat up a bit.
不好玩,完成度不到10%吧 魔法技能都超少
The combat delivers a lot of satisfaction, whether you're wielding a slow, powerful two-handed weapon or fast, short-range tools like a hammer. Leveling up during a run gives a solid sense of progress. I hope they add more spells in the future, but the core combat is strong and fun.
EARLY ACCESS REVIEW: Morgenstern fills a void in the gaming sphere that I think we all could use more of. Its pick up and play, rogue lite, hack and slash style gameplay with little to no "f#ckin around" is kind of refreshing when "WORLD BUILDING" is such a big aspect for so many games. Don't get me wrong, this isn't a polished game, but its just good enough right now that I don't regret the $15 CAD I paid. This is the type of game that I wouldn't be surprised if I found out one day it had stolen assets or used AI. And there are a ton of promises that this game is making to add to the game that could greatly heighten the experience. But much like your alcoholic dad when he says things will improve, you don't really take it to heart. Combat is pretty simple and nothing out of the ordinary, but it feels good when the guitar is chugging, the singer gets to the "duh duh duh duh!" part, and you're just kiting a horde of goblins, stabbing them while trying not to get stabbed. One thing I'd like to see that I didn't notice being promised: Allow the music to last a bit after a fight, or give it a transition to something tamer once the fighting has stopped. I like the music, and I want more, so it sucks when the fighting doesn't last long and I end up breaking barrels and boxes looting in absolute silence. Pick up this game if you've already bought Megabonk and you're looking for more, and be fully prepared for some jank.
Even in early access, the game already feels polished and full of potential. If you like challenging Hack and Slash action, this one’s a must-try! The combat feels fluid and satisfying and I especially enjoy playing co-op with friends. Can’t wait to see what the developers add next!
Just don't bother buying this furniture smashing simulator.
