Solidny Soulslike. Początek za łatwy jednak dobrze wprowadza w świat gry. Później trudność rośnie do momentu aż zwycięstwa z bosami zaczynają dawać satysfakcję.
Really good game and hidden gem. I recommend!

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 2 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Morbid : The Seven Acolytes was far more fun than I expected it to be, a short cthulian romp through various Lovecraftian-locales with serviceable combat and well-animated pixellated art-style. Don’t expect a long opening cutscene or a deep story. You’re thrust straight into the action, with the first NPC you meet explaining that seven cosmic entities called the Gahars have bound themselves to the minds of the land’s rulers, basically turning them into crazed demonic puppets. You’ll be fighting through the game’s various biomes, killing each of these Acolytes and absorbing a portion of their power along the way. You’ve probably seen Morbid’s art-style many times before. Even just by scrolling through the other videos on this channel you’ll come across Blasphemous, Skautfold, Dark Devotion, and more besides. The difference here is that while everything is still 2d sprites, the plane is isometrical, which is fine for the most part, although I occasionally got stuck on some of the environments or discovered what I though might be a path was, in fact, the base of a mountain or the edge of a fence. Combat remained fun from start to finish. You’ve got your traditional light and heavy attacks, a ranged weapon that is fairly useless except for crowd control, and a nice dodge roll with some generous i-frames. There’s also a stealth mechanic that’s well worth mastering as you deal massive damage to unaware enemies. In fact, I soon found that this also applied to running attacks, as you could charge in and quickly hit an enemy before he could react, which is great for one-shotting the weaker mobs. I was pleasantly surprised at the number of weapons available for such a short game: I must have found over a score of swords, hammers, halberds, tridents, axes, and gloves, most of which had different move sets. I started off, as I often do, with the larger, two-handed weapons, but at a certain point in the game I switched to a pair of fast gloves that allowed me to attack several times in quick succession. Weapons have up to four rune slots, and this is the only way to significantly increase your damage output, with elemental runes offering up to a 20% increase per slot, so 80% overall. There are other rune types too, from health leach to attack speed, but I found nothing beat choosing a weapon that was already pretty fast and adding a whole load of damage runes to it. There’s no levelling in the traditional sense of the term, instead killing enemies awards you with skill points that you can then use to upgrade blessings you find by breaking statues scattered around the open world. Some of these blessings are just the standard health or stamina upgrade, but others are more interesting such as losing less stamina when you dodge, or dealing more damage to unaware enemies. You start the game with a measly two blessing slots, but gain an extra slot for every Acolyte you defeat. Speaking of Acolytes, I appreciated the fact that at several points in the game you have the choice of which ones you want to take on first, which allows you to try out different areas, or switch to another boss if you get stuck. This is made even easier by the fast travel system that’s unlocked from the get-go and maps that you can find to plan out your route. The main story is supplemented by a handful of sidequests, and while these never went beyond fetch item A or kill miniboss B, they helped flesh out the world a little bit thanks to some fun NPCs. Along with runes and blessings, Morbid also has a sanity system, represented by a purple bar at the side of the screen. The more sanity you have, the less damage you take, but the less damage you deal, which can turn combat against some of the spongy late-game enemies into a real slog. Another averse effect of having low sanity is the chance that dead foes will respawn as ghostly purple phantoms, but as these also offer xp, I found myself mostly keeping my stamina low to reap the benefits. Morbid: The Seven Acolytes isn’t going to win any prizes for its originality, length, or depth of its story, but I still enjoyed my time with it enough to recommend it to souslike fans looking for a short isometric experience. The weapons and rune system are fun to play around with, and the bosses challenging enough to test your skill without being unfair.
I recommend this game. The design, music, and Diablo-esque equipment system are all great. The artwork is beautiful, the enemies are interesting and varied, and the bosses are challenging without being overly difficult. Overall, the game is easy to complete and finish. There are a few things to consider, though. Near the final swamp, there is a confusing section where you reach an area with no apparent way to enter the level. Without any guidance, you must backtrack to a completely different location to find the actual entrance. The bosses also feel somewhat unbalanced for their placement in the game, as some early bosses are harder than the later ones. The equipment inventory could benefit from an auto-sort feature, and it would be helpful to have a clearer explanation of how the different elements work. That said, this is not an expensive game, and you get more than what you pay for. I’ve heard that the same developer created 'Morbid: The Lords of Ire', which is set in the same universe but presented in 3D. I don’t know, it seems to stray too far from what the original game achieved. I would love to see a proper continuation that improves upon the original while preserving its distinctive art style. Oh, and I played it all in Steam Deck perfectly.
