ive never seen a game use scanned watercolor art, the whole vibe of the game is so unique and new. the game itself is short and quite emotional, makes u feel for the character. definitely worth playing

Wonderful little game! the watercolor style is definitely the standout feature. the medium lends itself really well to the sort of messy distorted style the game is going for, and the art itself clearly shows off the dev's understanding of how water and pigment move flow on a page i have been following zxian's journey for a couple years now, but this is the first time ive managed to get my hands on one of their games (stop deleting them!!!!) and i gotta say it did not disappoint! my favorite scene comes when you try and interact with mono's tv. the way the game forces you to linger on the channel mono doesnt like very accurately conveys the feeling of executive disfunction, in a way that really resonated with me. there were a couple grammatical mistakes here and there, but it really didnt take away from this wonderful bite sized experience. overall, id highly recommend MONOPHOBIA to anyone who loves short, introspective indie games,
