Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.29/day in the week to Sep 14 → 4.4/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

You play as a sushi. Your weapon of choice? A pressure washer. Your enemy? Mold. This is Moldwasher, and yes, it's exactly as unhinged and charming as it sounds. Quick disclosure! Anshar Publishing sent me a free key for the game, no payment involved. Everything in this review is my own personal opinion. Moldwasher is a cozy pixel-art game from Rubel Games. In fact, it’s a one-person passion project! You play as Nigiri, a sushi on a mission to clean the house and beyond from an invasive species. Kitchen, freezer, the garage, and even down drains. All. Of. It. Don’t worry though, you don’t have to scrub all by yourself with a toothbrush! You’ve got a full arsenal of gadgets to do it with too. Pressure washer, leaf blower, and even a flamethrower if you’re feeling spicy. You can even earn bucks along the way to upgrade all that gear you unlock. Decorate your home and even take a chance on gacha toys in this cozy game. It’s on Steam now, at $8.99. You’re probably thinking right about now, well, you told me about it, but what are YOUR thoughts on the game? Do you like it? Do you dislike it? Moldwasher is an incredibly satisfying and truly cozy game in all the right places. It reminds me a lot of Powerwash Sim, I’ve played both… but with a more retro-spin. The pixel graphics are probably my favorite part of the game alongside the chill-lofi style music. Nigiri is adorable and the overall atmosphere is beautifully disgusting. The characters are charming, not just Nigiri, and the story itself really made me laugh quite a few times throughout my playthru, especially the donut-cop. Upgrades felt fair, and I was truly surprised by the addition of a few of them, including the pick axe which you basically mine moldy food. The collectible and decorating loop is a nice addition and keeps the vibe very on-brand. Even the enemies are adorable, there's this little fly that tracks muck around your fridge, and you just get to spray it down. Small detail, but really works. As for length, I'm at four hours in and still going, though I've seen others clock it around two and a half. There's also a Zen Mode, which just lets you clean at your own pace while the mold slowly regrows, solid replay value if you just want something to dink around in. Now, nothing's perfect, so let's talk about what didn't quite land for me. The mold regrowth feels pretty intense early on, like, "wait, didn't I just clean this?" intense. It does ease up once you can afford some upgrades, but that opening stretch had my arm legitimately tired from all the repeated spraying. There's a toggle option for the cleaning input, which helps, but I still dealt with some fatigue, and from an accessibility standpoint, if you've got any kind of wrist or hand condition, like carpal tunnel, that early pacing is important to know. This said, the game still feels incredibly cozy regardless. There's also a bit of a learning curve with the systems. I didn't realize stickers and shelf-items were separate things until halfway through my playthrough. Tab highlights unwashed areas, which is useful once you know it exists, but there's no clear prompt for it early on, so it felt like I stumbled onto that mechanic after chat told me how to find it. And the elevator genuinely took me a few tries to figure out how it actually operates. All that said, let's get to the part you actually clicked for: is it worth your $8.99? If you liked Unpacking or PowerWash Sim, you're going to feel right at home here, same satisfying, methodical loop, just with a little sushi hero doing the cleaning. And honestly, even with the learning curve I mentioned, none of it stopped me from wanting to keep playing, if anything, it just made me want to master the systems faster. And for $8.99? Between the hours I've already put in and a Zen Mode to keep going after, that's an easy yes. This is the kind of game you pick up to unwind after a long day, not one you're rushing to 100%, and that's exactly what it's going for. Honestly, I'm still playing after this video, I've got appliances left to clean and I want to know what else is hiding in this house. Mold sweet mold, indeed.

Very casual, short, cute, and mindless (positive). The music is what really sells the chill vibes, and I recommend it for those who just need a small game to relax to.
