Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Sep 9 → 2.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Model Kit Shop Simulator is a first-person store management game where every sale starts with a Model Kit.
Build and grow your own hobby shop by ordering master boxes, unpacking deliveries, stocking shelves, setting prices, and serving collectors and enthusiasts.
But running a successful model kit shop is not just about selling boxes. To maximize profits, you need to keep the right matching paints in stock, increase basket value through the Hobby Basket System, and give customers a place to bring their projects to life with the Build Table.
Hobby Basket System
Customers do not just buy a single kit — they start a project. When a customer picks a model kit, they may also look for the matching paints needed to complete it. If you keep those paints on your shelves, they can add them to their basket, increasing the total value of each sale. If the paints are missing, they may still buy the kit, but your basket value and profit will be lower.
Build Table System
Customers who complete the right kit-and-paint combination can pay to use a Build Table after checkout. There, they sit down, start assembling their kit, and turn a box of parts into a finished model right inside your shop. This makes your store feel more alive and adds a distinctive hobby-shop experience beyond traditional retail management.
Success depends on smart stock planning, efficient shelf management, the right product variety, and creating a store that supports both shopping and building.

Reviews
Model Kit Shop Simulator, developed by Tenacity Games and published by PlayWay S.A., takes a refreshing approach to the retail simulation genre by placing players in charge of a specialty hobby store dedicated to plastic model kits and their accompanying supplies. Instead of managing an ordinary grocery store or convenience shop, the game centers on a business that caters to collectors, builders, and hobby enthusiasts. This specialized concept immediately gives the experience a stronger identity, creating an atmosphere that feels authentic to the model-building community while offering a satisfying management simulation for players who enjoy building businesses from the ground up. The gameplay revolves around every stage of operating the shop efficiently. Players are responsible for purchasing inventory, accepting deliveries, unpacking products, organizing shelves, setting competitive prices, and assisting customers throughout the workday. Success depends on maintaining a healthy balance between stocking popular products and generating enough profit to finance future expansion. As revenue grows, the store gradually evolves with access to additional product lines and more display space, rewarding careful planning and smart financial decisions. The steady progression encourages players to continually improve their business rather than simply repeating the same routine. One of the game's standout mechanics is the way customer purchases are connected to complementary products. Buying a model kit is only part of the shopping experience, as customers often seek the correct paints and accessories required to complete their chosen project. This system introduces an additional layer of strategy because maintaining a complete inventory becomes far more important than simply filling shelves with random merchandise. Players who anticipate customer needs and ensure matching products remain in stock are rewarded with larger purchases and improved profits, making inventory management more engaging than it initially appears. Another feature that helps distinguish the game is the inclusion of build stations inside the store. Rather than leaving immediately after making a purchase, customers can rent workspace to assemble and paint their newly acquired kits. This transforms the shop into more than just a retail outlet, creating the impression of a lively hobby center where enthusiasts gather to enjoy their craft. The feature also provides another source of income while making the store feel much more active and believable, adding personality that many business simulators often lack. Visually, Model Kit Shop Simulator delivers a clean and practical presentation that suits its management-focused gameplay. The shelves filled with colorful model boxes, paint collections, and hobby equipment effectively recreate the appearance of a dedicated model shop. Watching the store expand with additional inventory and improved organization gives players a strong sense of accomplishment as their small business gradually becomes a thriving destination for hobbyists. The straightforward user interface also keeps everyday tasks accessible, allowing players to focus on planning and management instead of struggling with unnecessary complexity. Although the game is still in Early Access, its foundation already demonstrates considerable promise. The core mechanics are well integrated, and the niche subject matter helps it stand apart from the growing number of retail simulators available today. Future updates have the potential to introduce additional product categories, deeper customization, and expanded management systems, making the experience even more rewarding over time. Even in its current form, however, the game succeeds by combining familiar shop management mechanics with systems specifically designed around the model-building hobby, creating an experience that feels both distinctive and enjoyable. Overall, Model Kit Shop Simulator delivers a thoughtful and engaging business simulation that successfully captures the appeal of operating a specialty hobby store. Its emphasis on strategic inventory management, customer satisfaction, and store growth provides a rewarding gameplay loop, while its unique setting gives it an identity that separates it from more generic retail simulators. Players who enjoy management games or have an appreciation for scale models and collectibles will likely find plenty to enjoy as the project continues to evolve. Rating: 7/10

I played the demo and loved it, so I bought it when it came out on July 24th. It's awesome—great regular updates. Keep it up, don't let up
its a good game. worth the price I paid for it
Really Enjoying this game. And the res-stocker is a nice addition. Recommended.
tré bon jeux
Right im not saying the game itself is bad in fact its pretty good not many bugs. I've had the game since early access. Updates are pretty good. But Since They have put out Controller Support its Not a very good Controller support the A button is the scan button on the till as well as a jump button. So when you scan your jumping every so often so i revert back to mouse and Keyboard. For till operations the navigation around the pc is used by the pad and the response to key touch and what you see on screen is ether to fast or to slow. which makes Navigation to slow so if you have not purchased it and think ill buy it i would say hold of until these issues are resolved. and you really don't want to play on keyboard and mouse then hold of. other than these two issues the pad works well and like myself you could use Controller and muse to navigate computer and till operations then go ahead. Now i've put it as a negative review because i find it false advertising when controller issues are still a problem but the game is saying full controller support. when this gets changed so will my review Okay since wrighting this review its got worse the RT2 is now the scan button when excepting cash transaction it wont open the till to give change and puts you in the negative. Plus there is NO pause button unless you press escape on the keypad
Détente et plaisir assurés, jeu fluide et agréable à prendre en main! plein de maquettes très belle, CEPENDANT pas de facture d'électricité ni de loyer à payer... la belle vie quoi!
Gostei bastante do jogo. Recomendo!
