Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 31 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

simple fun, a bit short. I fell asleep a few hours because of food coma so I could have finished it much faster. recommended if you know or are learning a few languages
An interesting idea with an extremely lackluster execution. The bland line puzzles were probably created by algorithm, and aren't particularly fun or challenging. Most of the words are obvious cognates and don't require much thinking, so unfortunately the bulk of the game is just solving these line puzzles. It's a mild curiosity to play through them once, but it's not an efficient or effective way to study the words. The puzzles themselves aren't in your target language (unless you're studying English), so you'd probably be better off getting a book of word searches or easy crosswords. While the 300 levels will keep you busy for a while, no new mechanics are ever introduced, and the developer didn't include any additional modes, scoring, or other options at all, so there's nothing to spice up the bare core mechanic. I've wasted $2 in worse ways, but it's hard to find good educational games, so it's always a big disappointment when they miss the mark. Don't expect much, you can find much better resources for free.
Just deactivate all but your own language, if you don't feel like learning new ones. In case yours isn't included, well ****.
Word puzzle game with languages
There are several Mini Words games on Steam but this is the first one I've played. The idea is to find specific words in a lattice of letters while stringing them together, without crossing lines. In this version of the game, the words to find are English nouns, while the hints are nouns given in various other languages. Potentially rather educational! The other languages beside English include (at the time of writing) French, German, (Brazilian) Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, and Russian. You can disable any of them at will, while having the hints in the rest. Personally, I disabled all but French and German that I studied in high school. I've forgotten most of their vocabulary so I found it to be a good refresher!
Lots of puzzles
The puzzles start out as small, with only one or two short words, but expand and increase to having up to 5 words. There are altogether 300 puzzles to solve. In an educational game like this, it's elementary that there are little to no typos. I was pleased to detect no typos at all in my chosen languages, including the key words.
Know any other languages?
I mostly played this while watching movies/series and probably racked up some AFK time (maybe 1-2 hours) as well. My total time came to 12 hours. I had to resort to Google Translate a few times when I was stuck though. I wholly recommend this if you enjoy puzzle games AND know a second (or preferably, third) language on this list and could use some practice with. Helpful and awesome game for Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, German, and maybe even Russian, even though the Russian voice is a little hard to understand.

Mini Words: Polyglot is what seems to be a mobile app that's been lazily dumped on Steam as a greedy cash grab from mobile devs. It's a basic trivia game where you're presented with a simple trivia question about a top grossing movie. Put your finger on your phone screen and swipe over the letters to make the word that answers the question. The developers have copied + pasted this game onto Steam 4 times now, the only change being the name and the words. This is still just a cash grab, even if the asset they're flipping is their own. You can play these games for free on mobile, so it's inexcusable for a mobile dev to try charging money for this on Steam, which is for PC games. Who do they think we are?
