Are you tired of searching for a rag to wrap around a piece of broken glass to then use as a makeshift knife? Can't be bothered carrying 3 of 9 stone discs everywhere, looking for the other six or the puzzle they go into? Bored of staring at every little thing on screen in the hope that one of them will morph into something else? Then Millionaire Manor is the game for you! No adventures, no inventories, no $&%@ing morphing objects, just hidden objects and the finding thereof. Because of that, the game's not long, but it does have a screen to revisit all the scenes afterwards, for the completionists out there. It's not without its gimmicks, either, the usual list of objects being supplemented by additional modes - jigsaws, silhouettes, etc - to help keep things interesting. There's a bit of a story too - classic HOG fare of rescuing a family member.
background artwork and voiceovers pretty good but hog scenes dark and low resolution so finding the objects pretty agonizing. there is also no substantial story.

Basically couple of different modes like puzzles, hog scenes, jigsaw slapped together and with barely existent small bits of story that supposedly should keep it together but fall short on that front. On top of that game runs in very small resolution and everything is blurry and fonts are hard to read.
hidden object(アイテム探し系)ADVゲーム。
Pretty decent game. I can't say worth for the full prize but I get this game with 75% discount so it's fine by me.
EDIT March 2018: Per Dryspace's comment on this review, I looked up BridgetFisher's review and tried the fix for the resolution issue I had. With that fix in place, I was able to play the game and finish it, though I doubt I'll complete the Extended Play in Jirard-style completionism. So, I change my review to a recommend with that. The plot is basically non-existent, but the antagonist's voice acting is some of the best I've encountered in an HO game. The various game modes give this game a bit of something different. ------------ First, I'll admit that I bought this on sale for not more than two dollars, probably less. While I give the game much credit for the idea and an actually interesting antagonist, I got tired of the game very quickly. The reason for that wasn't the game play, but the lack of an actual fullscreen mode. The scenes are repetitive, but the various types of games helped with that. If I didn't have to have the screen next to my face to see what was going on, I would have probably finished the game at least. It seems a bit nitpicky, but that's a deal breaker in this case.
I am writing this review in behalf of my wife who enjoys playing Hidden Object Point and click based games, She says this game is decently challenging and she enjoys it.
