Microvania

Really fun, but short matroid(vania). Completed the game in bit over 3 hours, but worth every penny.

Great game here. Cool retro graphics. Nice music. Id love to have the soundtrack. A couple frustrating bosses. A fun experience.

Fun and mildly challenging. Like, challengingly fun, but rarely stressful. A legit 7/10. I recommend this game for sure. Only played with controller.

This is a nice short game with clean pixel art with the great CRT filter (does make distinguishing ammo count numbers a bit tough) The music is chiptune and energetic. This game has a lot of hidden secrets just like the Metroid series. I played the whole thing on Steamdeck and it performed great. The game had some bugs with the music cutting out during boss battles, but the developer updated the game and patched the bug pretty fast. Some unpolished things I found was the unabilty to turn into a ball near door, makes movement a bit clunky. Also enemies being able to continue shooting projectiles when I have moved on to the next screen. Overall I think the game is a good purchase, it's also fun to do multiple playthroughs to earn all the achievements!

So far so good! The 2 bosses I have thought are quite tough. The Scorpian Mech forced me to think outside the box to beat it. The lava boss, I think I need more to explore and get more energy tanks first. Exploration is good, lots of back tracking as you gain abilities :) I noticed the map puts a white dot where an item like missles etc has not been collect yet which is very handy! For the small resolution, its atmospheric and has neat little animations. Can't wait to actually unlock a cell so I can equip one of the mod chips :)
