For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

While the game is overall fun, there are 2 big issues that completely kill it off. The first one is that the dungeon random generation doesn't make sure to make any actual paths to special rooms (or even the boss of the floor). This means that some runs are completely impossible, simply because there is no path to the boss. The other issue is that once you level up your stats a lot, leveling up certain stats starts giving drawbacks. This makes absolutely no sense. Why should the player permanently lose 1 upgrade he gets from a lv up in favor of another? It basically forces you to restart after all the leveling, just to use your level ups in the right order to dodge the penalties. It's also hard to tell just how impactful certain stats are. For example, you can increase your crit damage (not sure why you should ever take +1 crit damage over +1 base damage...), but the game doesn't tell you how high your crit chance even is. Or how much hp an hp cell restores. Or how big of an impact luck has on drop rates. Some monsters are also ridiculously overpowered if multiple of the spawn. For example, monsters that shoot only while touching a wall and that bounce a lot can be flying all over the room at insane speed if there are a few of them in a single room, since they tend to fall into corners and end up bouncing off of each other all the time.
Roguelite where we explore through procedural rooms, progress is saved and the graphics remind me of downwell, for the price it was a good purchase.
Yeah so basically a microbe killing machines
Very good game, it's fun and it pays well on the steam deck, the only thing I've noticed is that the menu navigation feels a bit slow, it takes about one second o register a second input
Microbes and Machines! This is a solid take on a rougelike game, especially for the price point and value for money. I really enjoyed the difficulty and replayability of the game, I think the mechanics are good and lead to plenty of replays trying to get further in the levels. The only major thing holding this game back is a key defining mechanic that is unique to this game only and no other rouguelikes, this is a really good foundation that only needs one more major unique mechanic to be a really quality rougelike. The music of this game is really good, it suits the atmosphere and themes really well. I would have liked to hear maybe a different track while fighting enemies, or even better maybe adding a filter or a quiet edit of the level themes while exploring and picking up in pace when battling. I think the simple graphics work well, I really enjoy the scrolling backgrouds which were added in an update, it adds a lot to the overall design. More physical obstacles and objects in the foreground would go a long way to make each of the rooms feel more unique and not empty. To add to this the levels have different music and sprites, but it would be nice if they had a more defined theme. Adding in more level themed background objects and design would really compliment the music really well. The boss fights are another great element of the game, they feel rewarding to overcome and move to the next area. Having the map show exactly where the boss is made it a bit easy and predictable to advance forward. With all things considered this game is amazing value for its price, adding in slightly more content will make this game really shine. I rate it 7 Microbes out of 10 Machines, keep up the good work!
Cheap and great aesthetics, but keys are useless as you always have enough to open the 1 crate on each layer. The items from the crates doesn't activate or seem to work. The rooms are extremely repetitive, having the same 3 enemies and only 1 gun. Enemies have a DPS cap to make you not overpowered but it ends up backfiring as getting upgrades basically does nothing except if you upgrade damage. Not enough variety but the music is cute and simple and the bosses are fun but a little too easy. I have found 2 different glitches which are easy to do, first walking while opening the map doesn't stop the character from walking, glitching the camera when you close it. And the other is game breaking giving you at least 3 levels every time you die as the room counter doesn't stop and only randomly stops a while alter giving you tons of exp. It said i explored 1100 rooms. i died after ca.30.
Wow I was NOT expecting to like this as much as I did. And I was going into this expecting to enjoy it. I bought it while it was on discount at 84 cents. However, ignoring the discount, as of writing this, it only costs 99 cents at full price. A must get given the quality of the build with the affordability of the price. You won't be dissapointed. Also, I jumped in, ended up playing for a full hour without even realizing it. Don't worry about the "rogue-lite" elements. The game actually auto-balances difficulty so that while you become more powerful every run, the enemies also become more powerful. So if you are afraid of "the more runs I'll do, the easier the game will get and that will ruin it for me". Don't worry. The game doesn't get easier. This is a purchase that will last you a good long while.
Good
