This game has taught me to not buy games on release. It's boss and enemy design is incredibly unfair at times, a majority of f*ck overs and deaths I've had is just due to sh*t luck. Damage from bosses and enemies can just feel unavoidable the majority of the time, which is the problem with many ranged attackers as you aren't told their range. Sure, maybe it can be due to poor positioning, but if i'm not told an enemies exact range radius how am I supposed to position accordingly? Same with not being able to tell how far enemies can walk. Another thing is that you can be f*cked over for future runs if you are incapable of breeding cats with good stats, or getting strays with good stats. Sometimes you wont even get female cats to be able to start a breeding process. You can also just get sh*t luck with the furniture you can buy, or sh*t luck with runs to the point where you wont be able to get tons of coins for purchases. This may sound like skill issue but the games rng, punishing boss and enemy design just make me not wanna play further. As of recent I had a run where not one of my cats got downed until I got to the 2 dogs boss, i forget their names, where the nuke attack at the end of the fight instakilled 3 of my cats leaving me only with the cleric cat. Only one cat in the radius was downed, and none of my cats could get out of the radius due to it covering the majority of the arena. Go buy binding of isaac instead, atleast the sh*tty rng in that game is manageable. F*ck this game.
