New updates made game unplayable I’ve been playing this game for a couple of years and have invested a lot of time but recent changes have made me not want to play anymore. Specifically, my biggest issue is the introduction of auto-merge. It was annoying enough having to disable it from the landing page before going onto the board, but a recent update removed the ability to do that and now you have to go into the board first to then turn auto merge off, causing items to merge as I rush to disable the feature. I contacted support asking if there was a way to disable auto merge before going onto the board and my question was completely ignored. The “solution” I was given was to go into the board and THEN disable auto merge, which isn’t a solution at all. Until auto merge is removed or the ability to disable it without risking my merge items is brought back, I won’t be playing anymore for the time being.

Starting to remember I'm starting to remember why I deleted this over a year ago. The game play is so slow! Why would any of the pieces take hours to recharge, when they already barely give you anything to begin with?!

Auto-Merge!!!!!! STOP THIS DUMB STUFF PLEASE. AUTO MERGE SHOULD NOT AUTOMATICALLY BE ON. Seriously, I stopped playing for quite some time but even before I could turn it off before I went to the main board. Now it’s on purposely for what. Why is it that I can’t make the decision to keep it off in settings. Or just take it off period. Don’t force something on players that they clearly hate. OR, make it so when you force the game to auto merge at least add a way for players to undo it. NEVER MIND JUST DELETE THE AUTO-MERGE ITS THAT SIMPLE. I HATE IT AND NEVER USE IT! Fix the game.

Changes not appreciated I’ve been playing this game for over a year, and whenever players really like a side game for the rewards (mining, secret supply) the developers get rid of it. It has become harder to play with less incentives to continue.

A once-great game losing its way Merge Mansion used to be a genuinely fun and well-paced game two or three years ago. The progression felt rewarding, the events were worth participating in, and the game gave players a reason to stay engaged. In recent years, however, many of the new features have felt more like distractions than real improvements. They may look varied on the surface, but the actual rewards are often so poor that I have started ignoring most of them. Instead of making the core gameplay deeper or more interesting, the game keeps adding side systems that feel increasingly restrictive. What is most disappointing is that player rewards have been reduced again and again. In the past, putting serious effort into the season pass or limited-time events could occasionally earn meaningful rewards, such as a Blue Card. Now the developers seem to be making those rewards significantly harder to obtain. Recent weekly tasks have also raised the completion requirements by a large margin, making the game feel more demanding while giving less in return. This is not meaningful difficulty or better game design. It feels like the game is slowly taking away value from loyal players while presenting it as new content or variety. The result is a game that feels less generous, less rewarding, and less enjoyable than it used to be. Merge Mansion was once a game I truly enjoyed. Now it feels like a game that keeps asking for more while giving players less.

We no longer have free energy chests, extra energy for videos, or the ability to pop bubbles by watching ads. It takes ages to complete a single task now. I refuse to pay for overpriced gems. If these features don't come back, I am deleting the game.

CONSIDERING DELETING FOR THE SECOND TIME I loved this games a couple years ago and quit after an impossible task that was taking so long to complete I lost interest. A couple months ago I re downloaded when I was bored and a friend I used to play with told me more levels had been added. I fell in love all over again. I am addicted to finishing the task and checking it off the list and to my surprise some of the times on the items had reset so they would refresh so much faster. I actually considered spending money on the app for more energy (I NEVER spend money on games) but with the latest refresh we lost that. I lost the extra free ads I could watch to get energy and items. The developers acknowledged the huge downgrade in prizes from the last event, so I am hanging onto it for another week to see if they put at least the ad items back but if not I am not going to continue to waste my time.

Used to be good I have played this game for years and spent hundreds of dollars. Now the new updates make it ridiculous to progress. Time for me to move on

Great game (plus some feedback) My most played mobile game by far. Such an addictive and satisfying way to pass a little time each day - with a cute, creative ongoing story and well designed environments. A couple of recent changes have affected the experience negatively, for me at least. First, the removal of optional ad viewing has cut down on my play time each day. I used to watch the daily ads for energy (+25 bonuses and daily energy chest). Strange choice to remove ad revenue and reduce options for player engagement. Second, like many people, I also don’t see the benefit of auto-merge. It saves seconds at most and can have unintended negative consequences. If you must keep it, then simply change the toggle so that if a user turns it off, it stays off. Would love to see these changes reversed!
