Absolutely loved this game. It's so adorable and who doesn't love combining magic with cats? My only grievance is that I wish it was a longer game lol.

Meowgic was stupid fun! Absolutely loved it. Key Points - Cute and charming. - Great co-op. (Friendly fire on! 😂) - PVP (Optional.) - Voice recognition spell casting. (Of course.) - Rename your own spells. (Surprisingly more fun than I thought it'd be.) - Easy 100% Steam achievements. Again... co-op was honestly just stupid fun. Friendly fire is on, so naturally my partner and I spent plenty of time trying to hit each other with spells before getting back to the objective. 🤣 The game isn't overly difficult, but it also isn't a complete cakewalk. You still have to manage your mana, choose your spells wisely, and time your jumps across cliffs, moving islands, and stairways. Different spells also use different amounts of mana, so you can't just spam everything. Customization is simple, but it fits the game. I also really liked the home base. It works as your lobby when playing with friends and adds a lot of charm. The UI is simple and easy to navigate. The colors are vibrant without being overly bright. 100% Steam Achievements - Explore every path. - Defeat every monster and boss. - Find the gears, treasures, instruments, and music notes. - Complete each stage as intended. For $7.99 USD, I'd definitely recommend it. I could easily see both kids and adults enjoying it. Quick Recommendation - Easy 100%? Absolutely. - Looking for a fun co-op game? Go for it. - Cute magic, cozy adventures, and plenty of laughs? Definitely worth checking out.

I play this game with my girlfriend and we had bunch of fun. I understand the game just came out and is at its first version. However, I bet lots of people will find this review helpful before purchasing and decide if it stays in wish-list or if they are willing to go through this. [h3] Game structure [/h3] The game is divided into levels where with every level you encounter a new enemy entity. To pass through the levels, you use learnt spells with your voice. The objective is the same in every level. You have to pass through the level's map throw golden objects into a hot-air balloon. Advance forward and at the end of the map is a golden instrument which you put into another hot-air balloon and fly out with it. That is it. The game is meant to be a coop for goofing around and relaxing a little. [h3] Voice recognition [/h3] With more spells unlocked it seems to worsen drastically. Not sure why that is. Most used spell in the game "fly" gets often mistaken for various other spells. That may or may not be just a configuration fault, though I believe the game should be able to adjust/calibrate the settings by itself. [h3] Graphics [/h3] Looks alright, fits the game style, with every level it feels more repetitive. That is why I recommend playing this game in multiple takes rather than trying to finish it in one go. [h3] Optimalization [/h3] Gaming on laptop sets it up on fire. I am quite certain it is because of the unfinished development so waiting a bit for fixes is viable. [h3] Game logic [/h3] The game tends to have some bugs sometimes, the mentioned hot-air balloon is rendered on the client and can be non-existent for the other players. I do not know the steps to replicate this behaviour. [h3] Overall [/h3] Lots of fun. The game is not meant to be rushed. I do recommend, but keep in mind there still are issues.
