About
Built for fans of classic boomer shooters and old-school campaigns, Melted Valor™ delivers fast-paced, no-nonsense single-player action without the grind, frustration, or distractions of modern multiplayer. Just pure, adrenaline-fueled gameplay—nothing fancy, just fun.
In Melted Valor™, the peaceful days of the Green Forces are over. Once guardians of the neighborhood’s harmony, they now find themselves pressed into a brutal conflict against the relentless Tan menace.
The Tan have turned to sinister methods—manipulating local bug tribes through toxic chemicals, bending them into weapons of war, and conscripting other toys from across the community: robots, action figures, dolls, all forced into their ranks.
To an outsider, they may look like toys. But to them, this is no game. This is an unforgiving war—one that will decide the future of their world. Every skirmish, every lost comrade, every hard-fought victory carries weight.
The Green Forces must fight to protect their homes, their friends, and their way of life before it’s too late.
Prepare yourself for a desperate struggle across backyards, bedrooms, and beyond… the fate of the neighborhood is in your hands.

As one who grew up playing some of 3DO's Army Men games, I enjoyed playing Melted Valor. Only complaint is the lack of achievements. But, thanks for the fun time I spent playing.
The more I've played the more I like this game! I love that this game has a dark undertone. I can tell someone's got a morbid sense of humor. I'm so glad they released achievements. Great, unique indy game.

Great game from a solo developer! Brings me back to my childhood, smashing army figures together while making machine gun and explosion noises and then getting yelled at to keep quiet.
I'm always on Steam looking for new games and I just saw this and I swear it was calling to me. I grew up in the 90's and my brother used to play Sarge's Heroes for the N64 and we always talked about how cool it would be if one day someone made like an First Person type shooter of either the Army or Sarge's Heroes games. Surprised it took about 20+ years for it to happen but better late than never right? Love the gameplay and the feel of it.
It's a goofy, okay-ish game. If you want a kind of silly, toy soldier fps, this game is fine. There's a story, voice lines, some love seemed to be put into development. Don't expect it to be a polished A or AA type game. In my 30 ish minutes, it crashed twice on my I9-13900/4090/64g rig. The bullets, were directed neither to the ADS sights nor the giant red reticle, but rather somewhere in the middle of the two. [strike]The save game sent me back to the first level despite saving at every new area.[/strike] The camera movement, or head bobbing(?), is wild. It may well be the first game that I got dizzy from jumping up a ledge. Look, all of this to say, if 8 dollars is worth it to support a dev, then get the game. It is okay. Is 8 dollars worth what the game offers, probably not in its current state. But hey, it's better than I could do and I find toy soldier games funny and entertaining, so well worth the buy for me. **Edit** The Dev has made mention that the save system is working as intended. So while not my first choice, its a clean harken back to 90s toy box games.
there are plenty of janky parts, but it was playable and felt more like 3DO than any other toy game. currently only has 1-3 hours of content, but I enjoyed it.
This game is sick, start as the "Germans" trust me.
