Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 10.56/day in the week to Aug 4 → 9.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

What can I say? I used to hate this game when I first played. AI was ♥♥♥♥, and still to this day is ♥♥♥♥. But they can now shoot a bit better. Base game is great fun now, but only if you can learn to wrangle your idiot lance mates. Modded game is an absolute blast. It will change everything for this game. I prefer this game in VR and with HoTaS, nothing beats it for me. Adding things like YAML and Coyote's Mods will make this game a forever game for me. I wasn't gonna bother writing this before the latest DLC, and as of writing this, I haven't even reached SoK yet. But the fact they added more and more content to this game and expanded the game's time is great. Adding a continuation to the Battletech cartoon? Hands down best thing ever for me. I haven't even seen it for myself yet, but I am excited to deny a batchall. Seriously, this game and the HBS Battletech game are great, but even better when modded out. Probably will be a Dark Age for a while until the next major Battletech/MechWarrior game.

Great fun to play and the controls are excellent and easy to master playing with a controller is definitely the best option! I played the tabletop game for years and this brings that fun back.
Do you like mechs? Do you like customizing them and then stomping cities with them? This is the game for you. The only downside is sometimes you have to protect cities instead of stomp them. And that makes me sad
great game
Best stand alone mech game. Does have co-op. Good continuation of the Mercenaries franchise.
Really enjoying the mechwarrior experience this title provides
Great game. Always LOVED the mechwarrior series.
Don't let my current time sway you, I have over 200 hours on the epic game store in the base game. Also will say I am a huge mechwarrior/battletech fan and have been for about 25 years. This is a strong recommendation if you are a fan of battletech/mechwarrior, or are looking to get into some stompy mech action. This game features a decent story, decent graphics, and pretty spotty voice acting, but where it really shines is the combat and the attention to detail for all the mechs and their variants. Given the 5 years that have passed since the games release, Piranha Games has added numerous updates, DLCs, and patches that have addressed some of the issues that the game had on release, and this game has been one I have routinely returned to at least once a year. The DLCs are also a strong recommendation, as they add new features, mechs, mission types, and campaign missions (opposed to the randomly generated missions that comprise a big chunk of the game). You can tell Piranha Games has a deep understanding and love for the lore of Battletech, which is a huge plus for me. The breadth of the DLCs give a good overview of a lot of the lore that takes place between the game start and the Clan Invasion, and at this point I am convinced that Commander Mason is immortal.
Grew up playing MechWarrior 2. This re-invigorated my love for BattleTech and giant mechs. Great game and the co-op is well done.
Very fun game, lots of tactics to try and use. The mech designs are a bit boring and simplisitc, but there are awesome exceptions, like the Marauder, or the Catapult. Also, hooooly early 2010s graphics batman. It took me a triple check to believe I'm seeing the release date right.
