While trying to find a good autobattler, came upon Mechabellum and saw that multiple players spent hundreds, if not thousands of hours. However, mechabellum is TRASH to be avoided. It has egregious loading times--even if u have a super computer, can't zoom out far enough to observe entire battle, tutorial is beyond confusing, tutorial battles are won through trial & error--NOT because it taught you how to play the game, tutorial battle 3.2 is literally IMPOSSIBLE to beat after a certain update, tutorial battles often have a 50% chance to lose--even if you did everything correct, and cannot redo current mission. There's also way too many units that are near identical: light unit with medium dmg; good against medium ranged units OR light unit with medium dmg; good against light ranged units. The point, is that most units seem identical to the others minus a minor trait. YET, worst of all, the pace of the battles is mind-numbingly slow. There's a double speed button which is still way too slow. And if you lose a tutorial match, the only way to "re-do" the battle is either to quit to desktop or wait out the boring, superslow battle. This is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BORING! You can't even press escape to redo the current tutorial battle. They literally force you to quit to desktop. Is the game fun? Heck no. Is the game boring? Most certainly. Is the game tedious? Absolutely. Is the game a waste of time? Absolutely. Is the game hard? It's difficult, because instructions suck and the devs did a poor job explaining them. As of right now, i did NOT finish the tutorial. I'm stuck on some random tutorial battle that i can't figure out how to beat--even though i'm literally given specific instructions on how to beat it. I just gave up in frustration.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 6.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 5.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

fun
Its a really nice game to chill if you dont take it to seirously. You sadly just need to ignore the chat communinty most of the time...
good
Incredible game. Perfect for a quick fix after work.
An all-time game. Incredibly deep strategies, short matches with infinite replayability, and a nice learning curve. Also worth noting that it's pretty unique in that the high level strategy is accesible for all, even without the mechanics or reaction times to play high level RTS ggames. I'd strongly recommend Mechabellum, and I'd recommend learning from the community. The UI and UX could definitely be improved, and the shop could use some work. But the core game is unbelievable.
