Mayhem in Single Valley: Confessions

A flashy bag of simple and badly executed mechanics and mini-games. But in a playful setting with an interesting art style. (+) Interesting combination of 3D and 2D that can look appealing under nice lighting (+) Setting and tone of the story (although narrative itself is very boring and I ended up skipping all the dialogues 5 minutes in as they lack any substance) (+) Playful, casual vibe as advertised (+) Ok music (-) Extremely tedious gameplay full of overused and way too basic mechanics. You throw things at enemies and run around them. Sometimes you just stand on a platform, wait 10 seconds for a wind to change couple of times and then ... jump. Repeat 10 times until the level is over. No fun, joy or excitement to be found. (-) The controls need to go back to the drawing board. The movement of the character is loosey-goosey. The design for action inventory consists of unnecessary scrolling through numerous slots which is an odd idea on its own and the execution certainly doesn't help. Even simple mechanics (like throwing objects in a straight line) are iffy. (-) The core itself is an extremely confusing mess. You pick up random objects that are assigned to random slots. Some of them do random things, some are just to be thrown at enemies and some you can't even equip or use(?!). Then you go on to do a boring mini-game or banal platforming - now rinse and repeat. Also, you lose many of the items after the level's done, rendering all of it truly pointless. (-) The camera keeps annoyingly zooming in and out depending on where you are in the level causing it to lack consistency and is generally uncomfortably too tight. (-) Many bugs.

Absurd mish-mash of crappy mechanics.

Играется как демоверсия прекрасного продукта. Однозначно буду покупать фулл версию.

Игра ламповая и атмосферная.Подойдет любителям расслабиться после тяжелого дня за кружкой чая,в игре приятный интерфейс и саундтрек.Есть минус,она очень быстро проходится.Так что если вам не во что поиграть,эта игра вам подойдет

Уже сыграл в демку и плейтест, игра выглядит многообещающе. Плюсы: +Отличная комбинация пиксельной графики и плавной воды и тени +Сюжет, интересен, хоть и демо, обещает быть запутанным +Геймплей, не особо интенсивен, но здесь это даже к лучшему Минусы: -Маленькое количество мест респавна в миссиях, из-за чего они могут быстро надоесть -Иногда не понятно куда собирается атаковать животное Я думаю, что нужно хоть немного увеличить количество мест респавна и игра будет играться намного приятнее Пока что твёрдая 8 из 10, посмотрим, что будет дальше
